Weekly SLR Update

Well, it has been a rather uneventful week at SLReports.net, arguably. We have negotiated partnerships with both VTrader Magazine and SLFinances.net, however, so I will go over those first.

VTrader Magazine
Operated by Wenden Xeno, this in-world financial magazine has agreed to cross-publish two slreports.net articles per month in exchange for us doing the same thing. I look forward to this VERY PROMISING partnership with a very successful publisher that has already gained a great following inside Second Life financial circles. At this time I am working to integrate his story images into our web format, but should have the first two articles posted in a couple days.

SLFinances.net
SL Reports is currently in negotiation with Amor Philbin, founder and editor of SLFinances.net, to provide editorial oversight and general administration of this awesome Second Life financial wiki. More details will be released as we close this deal.

I took the weekend off from exchange business to attend to some real-life matters and just generally relax. Yes, I ended up behind the computer most of the time... but you have no idea how awesome it felt to just to not have the Second Life client open. LOL! Granted, last night I did sip on some fabulous Australian Shiraz and cut up with JT Financial VP Kadena Whitfield, but I don't necessarily count messing up Arbitrage's office while he's offline and cackling over voice chat as 'working'.

It has been a relatively slow news cycle aside from drama at 'The Bank' and a few other random things. I have a couple of things I am going to post tonight, though.

I noticed the stock price dipped quite low today after a nice span of good prices. I have no explanation for this except a possible misunderstanding with the dividend I just posted. I should note that I posted two dividends so far in September, one in the amount of 84849.42 on 9-8-07 and another in the amount of 50115.80 on 9-14-07. It is a possibility that newer investors saw the low second dividend and assumed it was the only one I had posted for the month. I should note our total combined dividend for September was actually the highest we have ever posted. The other possibility is that persons were alarmed by the slow news cycle. As I have stated time and again, we are working towards posting more exclusive content and less re-posts. Our traffic is actually quite good at the moment.

Anyway, that is my quick update for now. The upcoming week you may see me offline more than usual - DON'T BE ALARMED, LOL! I have more real-life matters to attend to but will be checking my Gmail account as usual: xavier.mohr@gmail.com.

Thanks Everyone,
