New SLR CEO
Good Afternoon,As per previous announcements, after a long wait, I am pleased to announce a new CEO of SL Reports (CapEx: SLR), to take effect A.S.A.P. at the exchange's leisure.
Cash Yiyuan, the new SL Reports CEO, is a long-time SLR shareholder, an accomplished graphic artist, and a well-liked figure in investment circles. He is an executive staff member at the SL Capital Exchange. I'm certain that he will do a splendid job for Arbitrage, JTF, and all SLR shareholders as SL Reports CEO.
Unfortunately, we do not have an executive-level job for everyone that interviewed. In fact, we were not even able to interview everyone that was interested in the position. I wholeheartedly regret if anyone in particular feels left out with regard to this decision. The most awful thing about being a leader is that – for the betterment of the company – you frequently have to make decisions which will not please everyone... that is something that never gets easier no matter how often you do it.
Along those lines, however, I should note that while I interviewed candidates and offered my opinions, the final decision was ultimately made by Arbitrage Wise based on his business needs and goals for the new year.
As far as my own involvement with the company after this change, I do have news to report on that front. I have gone back and forth several times as to whether or not I will remain involved in SL. I am very sorry for any confusion this has caused any shareholder. This is my personal problem and you should not be worried about it.
At this time, odds are high that I will remain an infrequent contributor to SLReports.net. I am retaining an administrator's login so that I can post a SL-related blog weekly, but aside from that it is likely that I will spend very little time actually logged in to Second Life. I will be converting my premium accounts to unpaid accounts, but have no intention of actually canceling service at this point in time.
By January 15th, my involvement in SLR will be indicative of my long-term plans. At this time, I foresee that for me this will end up being just as I indicated... an infrequent contributory or advisement effort with no official position or obligation. As my real-life schedule changes, that may change as well, but I cannot guarantee that right now.
Prior to then, expect to still see me working as usual. I have four SLR ad projects right now that need to be finalized for clients – that have unfortunately been pushed aside because of the Christmas holiday. I also have several articles to finish on an editorial front.
The future of SLR looks very exciting right now. We have escalating web traffic and readership, a hot new site design, great public awareness, and a new CEO. I look forward to seeing how the company progresses under new leadership. I hope you feel the same way.
I will be assisting Arbitrage and Cash in the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition of operations.
Thanks,
