Hello, World...

I haven't posted a weekly update this week because there has been nothing to update besides what I have already indicated in forums. That basically consists of share retirement updates which can be found at:

Last night we upgraded our comments system at SLR to deter spammers and allow us the ability to IP-ban folks from the site who aren't necessarily being classy. This upgraded represented a total cost of $30.00 U.S.D., an amount fronted by SLR webmaster Strange Ranger and immediately reimbursed by me.

Strange Ranger is another good subject. I am very sad to point out that in light of real-life obligations, he has resigned officially as SLR General Manager and reduced his holding in the company. He will still be around hosting with the website and assisting with technical matters, although the CEO (me for now) will be handling all other content matters as is the way it used to be.

CEO interviews are running behind, but I have already spoken with two very qualified candidates who would both be fine additions to the staff. I have two more to speak with before the week is up.

Web traffic and user interaction is going GREAT, as I discussed with Arbitrage this morning. We're slowly but surely working towards the goal of increasing AdSense revenue, and have discussed the addition of alternate revenue streams with CEO candidates.

If ever there was a time to buy before a stock takes off, now is it, in my opinion.

Thank you all for dealing with me in present circumstances, and I am extraordinarily happy with the way things are looking right now. Over the past few days I have questioned if I made the right decision in resigning, but in the end I feel this is an exciting move for the company. I get to stay on doing what I am good at - WRITING (and will even have more time now to do what I do even BETTER), and SLR gets a qualified CEO who will ensure continued prosperity for its shareholders.

By the way, Kadena... I would not have posted this update for anyone except YOU. (Inside Joke)
