The Coming of L&L Financial Services

L&L and Second Life
L&L Bank and Trust has been working diligently behind the scenes to make sure we do what is best for the business. With that we are putting our 6 month goal into place 6 months early. Effective January 12, 2008, L&L Bank and Trust will become L&L Financial Services and will change all branding to reflect the name change. The website will be updated as well in the days following. New terminals will be put out in the branch and will be available for affiliate placements by January 13th. The ticker will remain the same as LNL and changes to the branding on the SL CapEx will be requested. In the next 24 hours, we will be releasing the new terms of service of L&L Financial Services and the line of products.

L&L and Real Life
Our occupational license for L&L Corporation and L&L Corporation Federal Credit Union will be filed the City of Fairburn, GA for the home-based side of the business and we are diligently working to secure offices for a physical location that is in line with the zoning standards of the city to be secured within 15 to 30 days.

I have finalized the schedule with the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance (http://dbf.georgia.gov) and the meeting is scheduled on January 15th. I am working on the pro forma business plan for the meeting and the proposed financials as well and will release the 13 page document by January 13th. I will also work to complete the 57 page Employee Handbook for L&L Corporation. The first few pages are available at http://groups.google.com/group/ll-corporation/ and you can request membership to the group to view information.

We have also been assigned a case manager by the National Credit Union Association Region 3 (http://www.ncua.gov) and are waiting on documents for expedited filing for the federal charter and deposit insurance. He has advised me that processing can take as soon as 30 days to issue the license and insure deposits. Part of the pro forma business plan is to offer membership worldwide to all SL residents, L&L Corporation employees, and employees of approved SL operated companies.

At current glance, the state charter will cost $12,000 USD while the federal charter will cost nothing initially but there will be a fee annually for depositor insurance with the NCUA based on the amount of deposits. In an effort to raise funds needed to make this a reality and still remain in line with our business plan, we have set up subscription services with Paypal in order to extend Charter Membership to SL residents. There are several levels of membership based on the amount of funds invested ranging from $1-500 USD. We will guarantee a 5.25% dividend on charter memberships and will provide a memo of understanding within 48 hours of subscription. Board Organizer Charter Members will be placed on a special board that will make decisions collectively once the process starts with NCUA. Operating the subscription via Paypal gives us the opportunity to remove the anonymity of SL while still protecting customers with the service as an escrow. If you would like to become a charter member, please go to http://www.myllbt.com/content/info to subscribe. The subscription is set up as a yearly subscription in order for us to keep record of charter members.

I am continuing to work on both sides of the business and will post more information as I complete my work and my research. Thank you for your investment and your business.

Sincerely,

Lindsay Druart, CEO
