So....what has LLBT been doing these days???
Ok, I have been lurking in the shadows for a few weeks now because I wanted the next move of LLBT to be protected. I sent a notice providing a bit of a teaser and a few other people got teasers as well but, I wanted to be sure that this stayed under wraps so there have been a ton of Non-Disclosure/No Compete agreements floating around and a bit of pinky swearing. Finally, I can put a light on some things.First, there was still work to be done on the system, in order to realize tremendous savings, the work of LLBT and LLCA had to be invoiced together. LLBT’s part was paid, but LLCA’s had not been. When LLCA moved to SLCapEx, the IPO amount was reduced by almost half for a fast start. This was done because LLCA had already sat dormant for over a month on the WSE and we projected events to unfold differently. I had advised SLCapEx staff before the launch, that, I would still need to move the remaining shares to complete the system, this brings us up to date. This was not made public, in order to maintain the current share price for our shareholders. I had anticipated a post IPO price drop, as has been the case of late at SLCapEx and proceeded to minimize its’ effects. This was not done in secret to hide anything, but more to control the effect on the share price, as is my responsibility. I instead chose to enlist another party to aid in this endeavor, which will be detailed elsewhere.
Second, I would like to announce some additions to the team and staffing changes at LLBT. The following people have been appointed to the Board of Directors:
ServMe Nakamura – Non-Executive Director
Luke Birdbrain – Executive Director
ServMe has been more than supportive of the company and Luke does a great job communicating with customers. Non-Executive Directors are more involved the scenes with supporting ideas, while Executive Directors work with daily functions and the company’s public aspects.
In addition, I can finally announce my ace in the hole. Bo told me I would find my angel and I did. This man has an awesome work ethic and is the face and brain we need to assist LLBT and the brand as a hole.
Sully Okelly – Business Analyst and Chief Communications Officer
Cory Rotaru – Chief Financial Officer
Sully maintains the banks portfolio needs and addresses the masses. Cory will be in charge of financial reporting and budgeting, returning to us from RL back to his previous post. LLBT is my baby, so I will maintain the Chief Executive Officer until I see fit to do other wise.
Third, this is what you all have been waiting for…….L&L Bank and Trust Brokerage. Just typing this, I am geeked up and excited about it. This vision occurred to me on a whim, then I dropped it in a few hats and so far have gotten an excited response. Most think of brokerage and then think that we would simply be investing for people. That would be correct to a point, but there is a spin to this one.
The brokerage division is now L&L Bank and Trust Brokerage Exchange. Investors will openly trade LLBT’s portfolio on our enhanced website. LLBT has portfolios on each of the 5 major SL exchanges: WSE, SLCapEx, ACE, ISE, and Vstex. This will be one stop shopping for all investment needs. Companies not currently in the portfolio will be put up for bid and we will then purchase those shares for our valued investors. Dividends paid, on the shares held, will be paid to the investor’s account as a normal dividend would. In addition, specifically targeted funds and indices will be created. Much will follow, on these offerings.
LLBT will keep records of the company prospectuses of all listed firms on our website and update them with current information, as it becomes available. LLBT will alert its market to any important financial changes and follow these companies, while strategically day trading as needed to maintain the most competitive share prices. In most cases, you may be able to get shares at a lower cost from the LLBT exchange, because of it’s buying power and statistical strategies. The lower share price on LLBT does not affect the price on the stock’s home exchange, so even reducing shares on an unpopular stock would realize an ROI for the bank, as long as the company’s share price is reasonably stable.
Furthermore, if share demand for a stock is required, we would start a share bid, in which case, LLBT investors needs would pooled together, to form a larger share order, at the desired price. LLBT will then purchase those shares, when available, at that price. This also helps the home exchange with larger buy orders. The portfolio offerings will be made public weekly, so that investors always know where the shares stand. We will also offer a Private Sale program that will allow investors to move shares, without dumping them on the open market at lower than desired prices, as this will usually harm a stock price. Private Sales will be done on a case by case basis and will involve the home exchange, where the shares are held, for security purposes. Those shares will be put up for bid on the LLBT exchange and the investors will determine whether the Private Sale is viable or not, based on their desire to participate in the bid. LLBT will then determine viability of the overall sale followed by execution of the order(s).
Currently, the Brokerage Exchange is performing with its’ current portfolio of companies. During the course of the next few weeks, this will dramatically increase as we add more stocks to the portfolio and set up the aforementioned funds and indices. I am beaming from ear to ear as I type this, because I am so very excited about the future of LLBT.
Fourth, another teaser, L&L Bank and Trust Estate Accounts….still a coming soon, but feel free to buzz about it.
Fifth, USD CDs have completed, but I am waiting on the fund manager to give me the final numbers as we received a bonus for some of our other products with the fund. USD will start converting back to Linden beginning January 3rd. Those numbers will be shown in our January report in February.
Sixth, we are reaching the end of our bank run as our current daily withdrawal is $25,000L but we are fluctuating nicely on our current reserve so I believe the worst is over and we are leveled out. As we move the USD back into Linden, the withdrawal limits will go back up to $50,000L within 60 days. Once we are at a comfortable reserve, we will begin reinstating higher limits for certain customers upon request. With the new system update, we are now able to track dormant accounts quicker and will be publishing the official numbers in this month’s financial report.
Seventh, we have entered MySpace and are proceeding with an advertising campaign free of Second Life. The purpose of this is to introduce more people to the game and have them looking for the financial sector of SL before they even figure out what an AO is. We are also on eBay, we will be entering FaceBook, and a number of forums across the internet.
Eighth, we will begin an expansion campaign to place, up to, an additional 500 new ATMs, over the next 30 days. I have not been aggressive in ATM placement, due to the tireless work we’ve performed to secure them, for our valued clientele. I wanted depositors to be able to feel confident and secure with our products before I mass produced and distributed them. And finally, I am beyond confident that they are secure. A new ATM, will be released, that will include new functionality. This includes buttons on the ATM hud for registering for credit card services with First Meta Bank and to receive credit reports from LLCA. We are going to mass produce and market the credit card system, in order to maximize our alliance with First Meta and bring that service to fruition.
Ninth, the currency exchange is here! Finally, we are able to offer this service, to our valued clients, via Paypal. Eventually, we will introduce bank wire and paper check services, as well. Customers will be able to sell directly to the bank or to another customer on this exchange.
Are you ready for another teaser?
Tenth, L&L Bank and Trust Global Exchange is coming……I feel like a school girl keeping a secret. L&L Bank and Trust Global Exchange will put a new face on the financial sector of SL and introduce a ton of people to the SL sector. If you think about the WIC (WSE), you have a close idea, but there’s still a twist.
Feel free to e-mail me should you have questions, concerning the current expansion and overall prospects of LLBT and I will be more than happy to address them for you, our precious clientele.
Sincerely,
Lindsay Druart, CEO
