Its clear what is going on - the share prices are dopping because Limer is keeping any profits for himself. This month along he has taken close to $3000USD out of the business for himself.

Thats way more then I make in a month in RL :P

I understand that owners are busy, however I have met some other companies within sl where the CEO's are very active with the people. I recently went to a store similar to HBK although not listed, milos designs I think the store was called, well the owner was very friendly and happy to give customer service out, and also mentioned that he has day-to0day financials of his business. Looks like he should have his company listed. tell me what you think guys?

Bobbi, the only reason for him to list his company is to raise capital for expansion. Otherwise he's sharing his revenue for no reason.

I'm really disappointed too. No dividends, depressing share value, management almost AWOL. Yes, it's a great company, with wonderful products, but seems there is no value in being a shareholder.

My 2 cents.

A few good points made regarding how shareholders actually benefit in HBK. Share price remains low and no dividends issued.

However, HBK has been utilizing their retained earnings and are growing steadily. They are now operating on one full sim, not half. Their cash on hand is well over their total liabilities by almost 5x. If they focus on lowering their operating costs while retaining positive earnings, HBK might be one of the very few companies to buyout the remaining shares and operate privately.

Then again, shareholders still don't necessarily benefit as the repurchased shares remain below book value.

This should be addressed in the following Shareholder Meetings since HBK is growing.

indeed HBK is growing steadily, but investors do not benefit as the CEO is keeping the profits to himself. he does not even have the guts to come here and tell us what is going on.

looks like one of those companies which screw investors after they get the investments from them.

I bought my Shares before this sh*t happened and i am realy pissed.
To be honest this here is realy the biggest
piss take of investors i have seen since long .
The CEO holds 3/4 of the shares. So 3/4 of the dividents whould have gone to him anyways. But he hast to take it all.
As long as thers nothing you can do against companies like that and as long as a company is not suffering from crashing prices of the shareholder value (in fact they even make profit on itbecause they can buy back cheap), as long there will be no real progres in the market. More and more investors will retreat because they dont know anymore whom to trust and where to invest.

I for my part dont know anymore where to invest and i think i will try to get my money out of all this as soon as i can and say good bye to trading of sl Stocks.

Posted by me on March 11th :

"Taking a look at the financial report, I see an increase in sales of over L$200,000. In line with the announcement Limer made on the 24th of February, salaries have been increased (from L$400,000 to L$500,000).

If the original statement that a monthly salary of L$400,000 for each would be appropriate remains, we're looking at at least two maybe three more months of growth (at the same pace) before the increase in sales can cover salary cost alone.

That brings us very close to the yearly slump period known as summertime, when less people log in and sales go down."

Nothing has changed since and I assume that as long as the wage goal for the two designers is not met, no dividends will be forthcoming.
