Anybody home here? | |
| It's now 8/5. Dividends where due on 8/3 cybersyzgy has posted nothing anywhere on this site to shareholders, ever, as far as I can tell. Im starting to feel a little nervous about my investment in this company. How about some communication here? | ||

Re: Anybody home here? | |
It is my understanding that CapEx staff are attempting to contact this company's CEO at this very moment. I advise on a personal level to avoid trading until further announcement is made. There is no indication that anything is wrong at this time, there is somewhat of a lack of communication with CYB on all levels right now and we are determining the best method to deal with the situation. | And that King, is why I don't believe we should be forcing CEO's to make their personal information public. | ||

Re: Anybody home here? | |
| CYB has been halted and is not tradeable. CEO information is not made public for that reason. We want to hold people accountable but we do not want to promote a violent and unsafe environment for anyone. While CEO information is required to management for listing, trust that it will not be made public as that is a privacy violation and not an ethically sound decision. Linds |

Re: Anybody home here? | |
| On the contrary Tumult, if CEOs have to worry about that, they are much less likely to fraud their investors. Transparency imposes accountability. You refuse to be accountable, you shouldn't be a CEO, or have a listed company. This case is exactly why EVERY CEO's RL ID should be public. AVIX takes far more precautions than WSE does, and someone still walked away with piles of cash. The due diligence responsibility of exchange owners/managers should include doing RL background checks which the CEO pays for, and every IPO should reserve at least 5-30% of the IPO money in escrow, depending on the age of the avatar, their companys age, preexiting profitability, and degree of CEO RL ID disclosure, releasing the escrowed funds over a 3 month period. FYI: As the estate owner where Cybersyzygy's offices were located, I have reposessed their land in Hayek to protect those assets for the shareholders, pending an investigation and hearing. Should AVIX determine the CEO committed fraud, the land will be sold and proceeds divided among the shareholders. |

Re: Anybody home here? | |
| It's not that the CEOs should be worried, Intlibber. It's just that there are crazy people in the world. I mean, I have aquaintances that won't attend SLCC because someone hates them for whatever reason and they fear for their safety. No one should be subject to that. It's not fair to the person and not healthy for the market. Personally, I could care less and that's just because I am afraid of very few things. Most people know I am Sheffie Cochran and can learn all about me from a Google search but at the same time, even I have had the nutty stalker. It's a privacy issue and if SL CapEx gets sued, I doubt you would fit the bill for it. | ||

Re: Anybody home here? | |
| What Tumult talking about is PUBLIC listed company operates in privately held company mode. If you are concerned just because someone posted "kick your ass' in a forum, then you shouldn't even be listed here, or in business at all. Personal information such as phone# and address is for exchange management records and contact, not for public disclosure. (IMHO, Lindsay revealed too much but that's what make her trustworthy) IF you are taking thousands of dollars from the public, you need to make yourself credible and accountable. Based on IntLibber saying, I'd say the exchange should hold 50% of IPO money, then release it slowly, eg. hold 30% in after first month, and so on. If the company need the money, then it is on loan base from the exchange with land rights or something. Yes, stiff rules make good exchange for all of us!!! |
