Financials will be posted within the next 24 hours.

Was this one of your usual promises not maintained?

Or maybe was a “staff problem”?…….

Please, for once, try to be respectful to your investors and deliver what you are keep promising for much too long time.

Well, there's this weird guy called Highstein or somethin', who once said that time is relative and speeds up or slows down according to how fast something moves. He coined that "time dilatation". Now, maybe Allen is very very very busy, running around very very very fast, and thus have another perception of time! All it takes is a speed of about 186,000 miles per second...

Thanks for that bit of sarcasm Valerian. I would say that....know when you have reached your limit and don't be afraid to say it.

I posted last week in the forums that I was burned out, still recovering and pretty close to being back on track but I knew my limit, and I let people know.

In the end, I can walk away from all of this and not have a care in the world but how will I sleep at night? And when my end comes will this be the blemish that keeps me from an enjoyable afterlife? Not to mention, if I lack integrity when I don't really have to have it, do I truely have integrity to begin with?

These are the questions that I ask myself when I think about giving up. It's not the money because I don't make much. It's not the fame because I am only know the way I am in SL. It's a personal contribution to the world and the notion that I did something right even in a supposed ficticious realm.

Bleh....I'm being girlie and passionate now....I'll stop :)

Not girlie, Lindsay -- that was inspiring. :)

There are people here working hard towards a shared vision, and spending personal time and efforts to make this project work. It is totally virtual, yes, but the ideal behind it, the dedication and ethical actions we undertake are real. To me, those taking advantage of these goodwilled people and thus vampirizing their ressources are as unethical as they would be in the real world. In the end, it's not a matter of how much has been stolen -- it's all virtual -- but a matter of principles which should alway apply, whether in RL or SL. You've shown that integrity, and others have too. But if we are to go on with this project, we'll need to find more efficient ways to protect ourselves against the "parasiting factor". This is the fun of virtual worlds, folks -- the opportunity to recreate a society with necessary rules and means to enforce them. Let's rewrite together William Golding's "Lord of the Flies" in the cyberworld (Lord of the "bugs"?), but with a happier ending. :)
