Updates on Liquidations/Payouts?? | |
| Hey Allen, As has been noted in the topic titled "Land Fund" apparently those with an interest in the land fund were not compensated today as per the plan laid out in your official announcement. I was hoping you might stop in and share an update on the status of that payout as well as an updated timeline for the payout on the Allenvest Limited Partnership. We understand that you are busy and that liquidating stocks is a tedious process if you don't "sell at any price", but letting us know something about new expectations would be greatly appreciated. | Just a thought: While AIG shares for the land fund can be transfered as expected without any trouble for Allen, we all know he experiences liquidity issues which could impair the return of capital in our AFB accounts. Hence, I'd like to know how many land fund investors would be willing to deal a common solution with Allen regarding that part of our investment. Such a deal could mean having the money returned in accounts with an engagement from us not to withdraw for a specific amount of time, the gradual return of money in 10% or 20% weekly increments, etc. Of course, all this providing that Allen be reachable in the next days. Any opinion? |

| I put a support ticket in for Allen over at the allenvest site. I wonder if perhaps Allen did not take into consideration that Sept 1 fell on a holiday weekend and thus we should expect to hear from him on Tuesday? Some people still do believe in the traditional work week.. and this thing called... errrr.. Holidays... odd I know. :-) |
