Re: Land Fund
Its 01/Sep/2007 even in SL.
I verified my Allenvest account: no money
I verified my SLCapEx portfolio: no AIG share

I can understand the AFB liquidity problems, but THERE ARE NO AIG share problems.
Investor Allen has more than 38.000.000 AIG shares, more than 95% of all AIG shares, thus transferring 2.000.000 shares to the land fund shareholders can not be a problem! Why I didn't receive them?

I can understand that Investor Allen has money problems. I understand that he has to sell shares and that he can not withdraw the money fast enough from his SlCapEx account. There is an easy way to solve these problems. Give us the equivalent of the money in SLCapEx shares. Investor Allen has still a huge amount of SLCapEx shares. It will solve his withdraw problem and a difficult problem will be solved.

01/Sep/2007: No money received, no AIG shares received
It's 01/Sep/2007, at all places in the world, even in SL.

I verified my SLCapex prtfolio: no AIG share

Re: Land Fund
Maybe asking for an update on this would be more effective than hitting the problem with a sledgehammer and saying Allen failed to come through for you. Like Eliale said, it isn't even Noon SLT yet. Give it time, September 1 lasts for 24 hours.

I do have to admit to being curious as to how the land fund payoff unfolds as it will be a indicator as to how to Limited Partnership process is looking as well.

Re: Land Fund
Well, it was promised to be paid BEFORE 01/Sept/2007. A pity that all the posts are removed, also the AIG announcement ... but I've made a copy of all before it was removed.

Re: Land Fund
Allen made an official statement about that payoff. AIG may be facing problems, but losing reputation over this fund would be even more catastrophic for Allen's businesses. Moreover, Allen has so far managed pretty well his banking crisis induced by Ginko and, apart from a weakness in communicating updates, has shown enough intergrity for me not to doubt about the land fund returns, should they even come later than Sept. 1st.

Let's give him a chance.
