Negative Balance
You may be aware of this issue already, during yesterdays IPO of GPBA, I purchased shares allowing me to go $10k into debt. It would allow me to purchase these shares up to the balance on my limit buy orders. I assume that the system would not have allowed the completion of my existing buy orders, this would cause confusion in trading!.

It allowed these purchases, as I didn't calculate the exact amount of shares I could purchase with my remaining cash balance. I assumed just like normal buy orders that the system would calculate the correct number of shares using my account balance, it did not, it assumed that the funds allocated for the buy orders was still available.

<![CDATA[ Re: Unable to sell stock...]]> http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/general/298 There's no provision for administrators to remove or cancel orders. The only way to cancel orders (assuming things are working properly!) is for the user to cancel them, or for them to expire after 3-4 days. Another way would be if I were to manually change them in the data, but I haven't, and I'm the only one with access to the database. The way order expiration works is like this: orders are set to expire 3 days after they are created, but the system only removes expired orders once per day during market open.
The orders that you guys found were missing, were they older orders that died a natural death?
I'm investigating this to see if something is up.
