I really enjoyed your class. Sorry I was not ble to make it to the HR one too. Was really looking forward to it.

I also believe you should charge per session per person. It was well worth the 250L.

I also believe that getting sponsorship (in what ever form) for your venue is a very good idea. Perhaps SLCapex could set up a classroom or something that could be used and the rest of the week loan it out to others. That way we can set up a lm and SlCapex will benefit from the exposure too. Just a thought. Could even name it the "AFL Conference Center" (Advancement for Financial Learning) They could even set up ad boards to help offset the costs.

For instance, if it's building, scripting, advertising, or marketing class, you can charge as these are profit potential subjects. Subjects that can be free are tours around SL regarding real estate, popular places to visit, etc. With sufficient interests, you can even have sponsorships.

Let's say you want to teach a course for newbs on how to trade on this Exchange, it's possible that SL CAPEX can sponsor the class, etc, as you are promoting their business.

Marc seemed still unsure about charging money for a session.
I just said there is nothing wrong with getting a financial compensation to become independant from handouts, maybe even grow and expand his classes in the future to reach a bigger crowd and get some for his work and efforts too.

I dont think 250L$ a session is too much to ask for because I do agree with Arnaud on him better holding a guitar else.

Maybe picking different SIMS each week would also help out the owners of those SIMS that trade on this exchange and give the students a broader exposure to all of the real estate that the companies on this exchange control.

The CEOs would probably give you a site to hold a class for free, just for the exposure. You could set up a different post where the CEO's could sign up and schedule dates for the class.

Just a thought.


EDITED: Of course if you set up a tip jar, you better be holding a guitar while you teach the class! :)
