I have been spending my time on the weekends buying up mainland plots in heavey traffic areas and renting spots in malls to increase the number of retail locations.

My goal is to increase our presence 4x over current and really start to bring in the revenue.

Also, the stock prices are holding well and trading is still heavy :)

Which weekend are you talking about Scott? Is it one soon by any chance? I'd made the mistake of thinking it was the one follwing your post.

Sorry if I sound a little "hacked-off".. I normally push a little for information, it's true - but right now I'm getting totally disheartened with the whole affair here and if I could just get back the L$ I spent, I'd be out like a shot... However, I can't... The stock is still valued under it's initial value (1L per share at IPO - not surprising after long periods of no info - in fact - I'm amazed it's still this high). But I'm playing the waiting game like many of the good people here and would dearly like some reassurance that something is going on in the background that makes this all worth-while.

<![CDATA[ Re: Woah.... What happened there?]]> http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/NIC/2583
If this volatility is a problem, then people have to increase their bids (volume), but such a statement is invalid because the market is always right, only 30-35k out of the avg of 142k L$ were placed in bids at prices downto 50% below 0.90-ish, in other words about 24% of the people believe the price of NIC should be above 0.50-ish (i pulled those numbers out of my memory, but i dont think i'm that far off). Thats ofcourse an overstatement but that's how funky this volatility is.

To be honest i'm by far more concerned that MLS is trading at no less than 4 L$, than i am seeing stocks beeing oversold now and then.

if suddenly 3-4 of the top shareholders would dump all their shares, I would get suspious, but that one shareholder is dropping out is normal.

We have been focusing on opening stores on mainland locations, this weekend 6 new locations will open

Land rentals have been scaled back, bescides Treasure Cove we have Davey Jones Locker and Rock City

Rock City is a OS sim that is rented to a single tenent

Davey Jones Locker is now being managed by Morphine Whiteberry

The rest of the rentals are Mainland lots with some very long term tenents.

I think, if a CEO "buys-back" his own stocks because:

1. He knows or thinks the shareprize is undervalued.
2. To "remove" those shares from the market to stabilize the price because less shares avaibable on the free market.

Or are there other reasons? (just interested, i´m here to learn the financial markets ;)

I am back from a extended overseas work assignment and have returned to my regular life.

I have finished all programming and the financials are now posted

www.nestlerinvestments.com/reports

I have tested the new reporting feature to feed into the excel spreadsheet that is the standard here at CapEx.

All financials should now be available for me to upload on the 1st of every month.

I will be also announcing that I will be continuing to purchase shares of NIC back off the open market.

I am aware that I have not always done right by my shareholders, so any shareholder that wants to put their shares up for sale may do so. I am not guaranteeing any price or volume but on a regular basis purchases will be made.

More disturbing is why would Scott let NIC be delisted? Any plus value to it? The company has some assets (sims) that could be sold and given back to shareholders. The funny situation is that CapEx itself is on a NIC sim. Are we into deep conflict of interest? Where is this going?

I just bought back a few to try and stabilize the prize when it crashed badly 2 days (?) ago. Sadly, it crashed again yesterday. And I didn't crash it.

I'm trying to sell all my shares, but i cannot sell anything right now, without hurting the price badlty. If you have an offer, it can be done without destroying the stock. If it goes back too low, I may try to bring it back up, but that is not a game I intend to play for long. It wouldn't be fair to announce a sell out and profit from it to buy low.

I just want to get out of here. The quicker, the better.

It is very peculiar that you would halt other companies, and yet you let this slide.

Is the transparency you have mentioned and consistancy of standards and reporting still under development? Or does it only apply to some?

Some in the community wait with interest your response.

I have been working with my RL inhouse programmer and we have devised a method of automating transaction logs out of LL that can be sent to our accountants, the SLFR group.

Since this will eleminate the "massaging" of data, downloading from the website and aquiring data from capex that I needed to do on a monthly basis.

My RL job responsibilities are preventing me from dedicating the time to the accounting, and I do appologise for that.

This new system will eleminate me from the accounting equation and allow me to concentrate on what I do best, make money for my shareholders.....

Thank you all for your patience during this process.

Delinquent or not, I feel that it is a disservice to this investment community to announce a dividend ("Dividend will be issued this saturday...") and then renege on that announcement in, what appears to be, an effort to manipulate investors ("....grab your shares today.).

<![CDATA[ Re: Different Standard and Dividends]]> http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/NIC/2386
dividends cannot be delinquent as they cannot be promised. As for the shares, are they gone from his holding?

As for your last sentence, I would have to agree with you. There are many reasons to that though. You cannot blame it on one person. Look at all the stocks here. They all are depressed. Any company that makes money from trading are stagnant. In the past weeks, i've heard of many land business (public and trading) that said they would go out of business on jan 5th. The Lindex as taken a drop and a new price gap has been established, clearing any profits to be made for a month or two.

These are only a few things that makes it very hard for anyone to prosper in SL right now. Add to that the current situation with sudden non-compliance of GAAP financials, and you get a near disaster. Show me a company that is prospering these days?

<![CDATA[ Re: Different Standard and Dividends]]> http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/NIC/2386
Apparently past formatting practices are now not being accepted by Mr Beck. The peculiar thing is if you look at some financials land and buidlings are counted as an asset yet we were informed for DCTY finanicials that sims do not count. Frankly buildings should not either then because they are virtual as well and in most cases non trans.

So what is an asset? I think that there is lack of consistent definition of terms for reporting purposes in all of these companies as well as no consistant format/presentation of the data. So why these two companies are being held to undefined or enforced standard is baffling.

<![CDATA[ Re: Different Standard and Dividends]]> http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/NIC/2386
I suspect dividend payments (or lack thereof) are delinquent not only due to trading suspension resulting from non-compliance with exchange regulations but also due to the laissez-faire approach with which this company has been maintained. Certainly it must strike one as unusual when 50,000+ shares are offered on the day a dividend was due and each of these shares at a 33% discount from market. And then, strangely enough, no dividend is paid. This is sad because I was led to believe that this was a very strong company with a committed staff and a vision for the future.
