I am also wondering if and how the CapEx wants manage this situation.
As far as I can remember:
- a fraud fund exists at CapEx;
- TNW has never got a not so small part of its IPO money (Avix i.e. Allen Recovery stuff).

I hope I didn't make wrong statements, because I've been inworld and checked the forums only few times in the last weeks, so please can someone confirm them?

I will post this in the general forum if this discussion will die here too soon.

I am curious about this month, looks like it was a rough one. Do you have 2 Sims you are paying tier on and less than one in use?

If so, I may be able to help by renting some from March 14th thru the 21st or possibly the 10th through the 21st. I need a wedding location and I'm looking for 1/2 to a whole Sim for 7 to 10 days. Needs to be lag free on the 21st for the wedding. Just a thought :)

several factors happened that we had a loss this month, the first and foremost being that somehow slexchange turned off 90% of our items for sale, thus sales were down terribly.
in the housing sector, bonus weeks rent were awarded to some of the long term renters as a thank you thus there was a small decline in rental income. lastly, before the witchhunt begins and the thread is polluted with comments from the haters out there, yes...it was my fault i myself was not in the game, and was leaving the managment to others.....all i can say on this matter is yes it is my fault but it is because of circumstances beyond my control, my son will be having surgery on the 12th of march, and after that time is when i see things getting back to normal for me in game. after the 12th, i plan to start buying back shares of tnw, until such time as it is privately owned again. so you can sell your shares now, or you can continue to reap the benifits of the dividends until i start the buyback

apparantly an update was done on the slexchange site and 90% of our 500+ items for sale there were marked as unavaliable and thus...no one could purcahse them. this error has been corrected. since there was a loss i have absorbed the loss and paid the payments on both tnw estates out of my pocket.

<![CDATA[ Re: Paris, Paris NO more Paris!?]]> http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/TNW/1357
The fact that i'm selling part (not all) of my stake doesn't necessary mean that i'm loosing faith in tnw; there are non disclosure agreements (and you know) with the frenchman so Lex can't show us nothing for now and this affected the stock price togheter with the banking ban, these aspects hit very hard tnw togheter also with a bad january dividend.
A trader, as i'm, aways sell when things turn to bad for buying later at cheap prices. I remain pessimistic in the short term for tnw considering also the liquidity problem after the slw conversion.

I dont believe it can reach 250 in few weeks, i believe it can do it IF and ONLY IF the grid project will be very successful.
It will need time of course considering also that opensimulator software is not yet ready as a commercial product.

Bye Sport and take care

<![CDATA[ Re: Paris, Paris NO more Paris!?]]> http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/TNW/1357
Must be a lot left of that 40.000€ because lex wrote the Server infrastructure for a TNW-"second Life"Grid he already owns, just set up the regions and and the show can go on and LindenLabs can close because TNW grid much better than SL ;)

Damn was that a (planned)hype around the stock pushing it up to 4.30L/share, i still laugh about it was funny hehe.

I was buying 12000 at this time@ around1.20 because Enky told me TNW worth even 1RL dollar (about 250L$) PER SHARE soon.

Glad i got out a 2.60 and just left 250shares in my portfolio because i feeled something going wrong here with that "french connection" (that maybe never existed...no one saw the contracts, no one saw the check..just a french investor who can not even write his own language and when i looked in his Profile , he was just born right after lex came back from paris with signed contracts and a 40.000€ check in cash *gg*)

Not even the top shareholder enky with 1.8 million shares who supported the hype was trusting it, throwing 1 million shares on the market (down to 800k now) and drove the prize back to 90cents.
Why sell when believe it hits 1 RL Us$ soon? hihi

it sounds everytime like big investors are welcome and small can go to hell.

if its such a mess that other people dont know how your business works, why dont you inform them about that instead of dissing them?

and for the fictional currency i say you this:

you can tell it how often you want and lukeconnel can do it, too, but it is wrong.

we have paid real money for our lindens and when you then say me that its only a game and thats all only fictional you show me that you havent any respect for the worth of our money...

if you ever want to change your L$ to $ please inform me. you can send the dollars then to my paypal account because your L$ were only fictional and so the Dollars are it too.

looking at slightly expanding and remodeling the residential section for better usage of space and prims
sl exchange sales are slow but the trend seems to be picking up over the last 1-2 days.
current properties under the tnw banner are as follows

tnw residential sim, 95% occupied
tnw mall, 90% occupied
tnw uncensored nightclub
50% ownership of screaming eagle bar and nightclub
100% ownership of texturez clothing line
100% ownership of way beyond bed and bath
70% ownership of strippables clothing line

we are also looking to employ a european manager for the tnw night club who can work the morning shift (american time) 0f 11a-3pm. this will conencide with evening in europe and allow events to be held for all of those overseas and in 6 time zones differtn than us
we currently run one event a day mon-fri, and by adding this new manager and additional staff, hope to have tnw with 2 evetns per day, 5 days per week. increased traffic = increased rentals by vendors and increased profits

thats it for this week

Many things metioned in some forum messages are now fully operational.

I am part of the team at Central Grid, we allow connections from other grids. If you want to be part of a large grid, with many active members, check out www.centralgrid.com

Server power and bandwith are key to building a fast operating grid. We operate in many large datacenters and can offer you a dedicated server rental to operate your regions. We offer low cost servers for rent with opensim all setup and ready to host regions.

In this case it is interesting to see at least three things:

1) cash available of tnw
2) stock holdings of tnw
3) other tangible assets like the value of the 2 sims

in case of liquidation, it is very important the balance sheet but for day by day is enough the income statement in sl, especially if you pay out also the available cash in dividends.

Cheers

<![CDATA[ Re: Paris, Paris NO more Paris!?]]> http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/TNW/1357 i do keep the investors updated as re: my weekly updates and my monthly financials. the reason that the whole paris thing is not discussed more openly is a) some details of the deal are under a non disclosure agreement and b) with the ban on banking by the lindens, i am not even sure what companies are going to be here come tommorow the 22nd
i guess what really chaps me is that tnw has always been upright and forthcoming. we posted profits and dividends when we didnt even get over 300k of our ipo monies from investor allen. that means that even though money was never recieved by us, those people that purchased stock still made a dividend. tnw has weathered every single storm, every single attack, every fubar and distraction thrown up by linden labs and still paid its shareholders.
that is intregrity....especialy when other companies, with much larger wealth than twn, have not yet paid a single dividend to their shareholders
so, yes i do take attacks on the company personaly, i am hard headed, hard to compromise, rash, rude and sometimes a real smeghead, but i do make money for my investors and they get a good rate of return.
let me ask you a question....would you rather put up with a ranting raving lunatic like myself.....and make a good dividend, or deal with a PR person i had to hire, who would by their employment take away funds from the dividend?
say maybe as high as a 15% or 25% decrease?

<![CDATA[ Re: Paris, Paris NO more Paris!?]]> http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/TNW/1357
There are always going to be people who ask tough questions - and some you may feel are personal. That is the nature of the business investors often get frustrated and want to know everything that is happening with a company they invested money in. Remember you are the one who announced you flew to Paris to pick up a big cheque. You shouldn’t get all upset if investors are now asking for details on 40K Euro cheque. If you didn’t want questions and discussion about it you shouldn’t have announced the trip.

In an earlier post you wrote ‘I do own 50.1 percent of the stock in TNW, which is a majority, I do not have to release anything nor do anything’. What kind of an attitude is that?? In fact this exchange does require you to keep your investors updated as far as I can tell. If you find it so difficult to deal with people why not just get someone else in your company to deal with investors – like a PR person or something. I know everyone has different styles of doing things but a bit of politeness goes a long way and makes this a better place for everyone.

there is also the fact that all outstanding shares of tnw may be bought back and the company taken to private status until such time as the fincianal markets stabalize and low end people like myself can figure out which is the best route to go so that we can continute business as usual and still be compliant with LL

The lack of information about the contract surprise me. Ususally, the name of the receiving company can be disclosed.

Lex are the major shareholder and i agree with you about your right, as major shareholder to do whatever you want with the company. But i doubt you made that statement when you had TNW in IPO .

I have no idea how old you are, my advice is stop acting like a child!

You're trying to bully your critics into submission, I'm just thinking why? You name call and you curse, why? You act like a 5 year old that doesn't get their own way, why? You try and belittle, why? You then try and drag a "friend" into the discussion to defend you, playground antics.

Start acting like an adult and not a child and you may start getting respect.

it is not a serious and just question in that i have posted before that some parts of the deal can not be disclosed due to my signing a non disclosure agreement. also, since i do own 50.1 percent of the stock in TNW, which is a majority, I do not have to release anything nor do anything. what everyone fails to realise is the following, just as the disclaimer says, this is a GAME inside a GAME, using fictional currency called lindens....but the check sitting in the bank account at citibank...thats real money....the contract i signed.....real contract.....i am not going to jeopardise that because of a game. my past actions, my past on time, every month dividend payments and my financial reports say it all as far as company worth and intregrity.....if thats not enough for a potential shareholder to go on, and they are so arrogant as to jump in a forum, and start conspiracy this and conspiracy that, then to be honest i dont want nor need them as a shareholder. do you honeslty believe that the ENTIRE value of tnw stock is a lot of money to me? its not...and when and if the time comes, i myself will put out a buy order for ALL shares of the comapany and take it private....
and i would advise you to tread very lightly on whom and what you cry scam....apparantly you have gotten scammed once or twice, and come here to talk BS without knowing diddly. if you want real good info about tnw, its dividends and its intregrity, ask someone like enky.....a major non affiliated shareholder who i think will tell you is very satisfied about his monthly return
thats it, not going to argue the point any more. i made the decisions, will continue to make the decisons until somoeone other than myself owns 50.1 percent of the shares
you can either invest in a stable, proven brand like tnw, or you can sell your shares....trust me if you sell there are many others out there that wish to purchase them and will not bring conspiracy theories, scam scare tactics and all the other drama to the table

I'm not sure why you have decided to answer a serious and just question in this manner. Is it to scare off those who may challenge you with difficult questions.

Heres my advice, you should treat investors and potential investors with respect, I for one am beginning to believe the conspiracy theories when the CEO posts trash like this.

Frankly, people who scam residents in SL have caused the banking crises and not conspiracy theorists.

<![CDATA[ Re: Paris, Paris NO more Paris!?]]> http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/TNW/1357 so what u guys think? a good ole boy from texas made up the whole story and flew his rear end from texas, to paris, some 5000+ miles, 10 hours on a plane.....just to bullshit in a frigging game
ROFLMAO
heres my advice, when and if thwb or tnwi comes to ipo and publicly traded, make a decision at that time to either invest or not.....but until then stfu with conspiracy theories. and just for your info...the base code for the grid project WAS opensim.......its not anymore,...it is being totaly recoded to work on my platform with my input
Frankly, people that put forth all this conspiracy drama are the ones that have cause the bcurrent banking ban, caused the gambling ban, and all of the other BS that has taken place in SL over the last year, and it disgusts me

<![CDATA[ Weekly Update, jaqn 20, 2008]]> http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/TNW/283
1) developed 8 new adult items for our new tnw entertainment line......all scripted and some with xcite scripts

2) developed and opened the over 21 adult section (upstairs) of the tnw nightclub, and traffic jumped up prety decent and the reviews are awesome so far from the people participating there

3) the check from paris has been deposited in to the citibank account and is now drawing interest until such time as we decide what to do. right now it seems the easiest course would be to turn tnwb into an investment firm instead of a bank, but as i said in previous posts, we will wait and see what happens at capex

4) total cash on hand 92340L total cash held in capex is just over 35k and some change. no other monies held at any banking istiitutions.

5) made sandra, a friend from europe and a avid sl'er the european manager at the club, to which she will be hiring a dj, hosts and dancers from that part of the world. thus giving the club a 24/7 presence with events and advertising to boost the visitor numbers, and to that end...profits

6) decision has been made to withhold dividends until further notice on all TNW stock, pending what happens at capex.....we figure its hard enough to withdraw at the moment without us adding fuel to the fire by adding more financial burden on them for payouts. regualr dividend payments will resume as soon as the banking and withdrawel of funds problems there have been worked out, which i know is being worked on by arbitage and his team while i type this

have a safe and happy week

<![CDATA[ About your last update]]> http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/TNW/1335 >sorry but like all the disclaimers say, this is a game with fictional
>currency and i am not gonna go form a real world bank just to
>have a bank in a game....

Looking carefully the new policy, if you dont apply for some sort of real life charter you can't set up inworld something that resemble a real bank that promise a direct return of some sort.
Then why to create something that is not a bank and to my eyes similar to TNW when you already have TNW doing business with land and paying dividends at capex?
I dont think that paying dividend at capex (outside sl) is against the new policy.

As a larger shareholder of tnw, and considering the new policy, i'll prefer to keep things focused for now on tnw and its new grid, in the meanwhile we will wait some clarification (hope so) from LL about his new contradictory policy.
They allow banking for real life licensed banks, when is clear that a real life banks will probably never do banking with a fictional currency:)
Or Lindens are considering now their fictional currency a real one?

Enky

ps: let us know when you will do the next shareholders meeting.

<![CDATA[ Official Weekly Update 1-14-2008]]> http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/TNW/283 only bad part i can see is they only let me have like 10% avaliable and the rest on a deposit hold until the check clears....with it being international if will take probaby 10 business days :(

now let me tell you about paris, it was cool to see the eiffel tower and all the beautiful artwork at the leuve (sp) but most of the french people were VERY rude if you were american, the hotel, being a 4-star would i think be expected to have a coffee maker in the room or at least free coffee in the lobby...nope if ya want coffee, you can get it in the cafe after 6am Grrrrrr well at least the chanpange and wines were cheap there.....Mmmmmmmmm Bubbly! lol.
all in all it was an ok trip but i am glad i am home now. we are looking close at the entire bank ban in sl and are going to be following the leads of other institutions as far as a work around. we will NOT be applying for any kind of Real world charter....i'm sorry but like all the disclaimers say, this is a game with fictional currency and i am not gonna go form a real world bank just to have a bank in a game....so what do you guys think of instead of a bank, a good ole building and loan? i didnt see anything in what i have read so far that would keep tnwb from purchasing land for a client, maintaining ownership of said land until the balance and the interest charged (since interest is illegal, we shall call it a monthly documentation fee....is paid in full, and then transferring the land and title over
please let me here your thoughts

<![CDATA[ Re: TNW Bank and Trust]]> http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/TNW/1281 the last thing we need at this moment in the exchange is the panic that seems to be taking hold. arbitage has done a surpureb job in the past and i have full confidence in the exchange, and his leadership of it to bring not only capex, but all of the companies traded in capex in to some sort of satisfactory conclusion and mode of operation

Oh, and according to the new ruling, you cannot offer them at 0.50, and guarantee a return of 100%, buying back at 1.00
