News Story: Vestigium (VES) Is Added To The CapEx Omega Stock Fund! http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7927
Due to the negative circumstances surrounding Advanced Avatar Solutions (AAS), I am removing the 64,000 shares of AAS (originally GAP) as an investment of of OSF, and adding 48,000 shares of Vestigium. Since the original GAP shares were purchased for L$48,000, as were the L$48,000 in VES shares, it's an equal swap in my eyes. No cost for this stock swap will happen for the fund. In addition, L$2,914.46 will be added towards dividends for May which represent dividends collected since I purchased the VES shares at their Initial Public Offering of stock (IPO) a few months ago.

I feel this stock swap will greatly enhance both the value of the CapEx Omega Stock Fund, as well as dividends paid to OSF shareholders in the long run. Any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks for being a part of the CapEx Omega Stock Fund.

Re: Whats new about the topic investor input? http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7864
And destroying the shares will increase the dividend per share=>and also increase the value of each share.....you can run the numbers yourself for example the fund have 2.13 million shares for the moment and the next dividend will be near 7000ls
=>what will be the dividend per share?....7000ls÷2.13 millions=0.0032
=>what will be the same dividend per share(if redux is completely delisted and the reverse split done)?....7000÷1.95=0.0035
=>what we will be the dividend per share if you run a spo (48000ls at 1ls ipo price will increase the total number of shares of this fund till 2.3 millions if we dont delete the share which have no assets....i mean the share created for redux ipo)....7000÷2.3millions=0.0030

In conclusion....thats your full right to ignore this truth but i refuse to ignore this truth....another truth is that a spo will raise the monthly fees that scalpex receive...unfortunately doing a reverse split can lowere these fees ..:)

Re: Whats new about the topic investor input? http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7864
Asking OSF shareholders which companies they wish to invest in won't work. The CapEx Stock Funds are meant to buy IPO shares only from newly listed companies, and that list is very limited obviously. This way the CapEx Stock Funds invest in all the companies "equally" and not just some which is what I wanted the funds to do from the start.

I don't favor doing a reverse split to destroy shares. I favor doing an SPO to raise additional lindens if necessary. Destroying shares won't raise the price in my opinion, so people will lose some wealth if I do that.

it was a bad idea of myself only, but on this way we get back the full dividend faster :-) The new information about RDX is good, better coming back later then never. All the companies OSF invested in have a great performance, when i am looking on the share prices.

At the moment it is a dark way but the sun comes back lol :-)

Re: Whats new about the topic investor input? http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7864 1/Skip ask to the osf shareholders to choose in the conpanies newly listed what company they are interested in
2/about 5000ls are still paid monthly when its possible and the rest will serve to replace or buy the new company without increasing the total number of shares of this fund.....for example skip told me the april dividend will be near 7000ls ....so if the shareholders choose a company....skip add 2000shares from the company chosen by the shareholders(without the dividends already received till now)....and when the 48000shares will have been completely paid by the fund skip will issue the dividends related to this company wich will not have been given(else that will complicate for him to run the calculations to know the dividends each time for 2/3000shares each month)

That s seems to be a reasonnable decision to me in order to rebuild the assets without doing a spo for the greek fund which have the biggest number of shares if we dont do a reverse split....now thats also to the others to do some efforts and take some decisions in the general interest

For general information redux represent 192000 shares in osf so if redux is delisted we have to do a reverse split to kill these 192000 shares or to replace them by adding another company without running a spo else thats clearly a dilution of the value of the osf fund(when abs failed the abs shares have been replaced by eac shares)

Maybe vestigium could be interesting....i dont know

Re: Whats new about the topic investor input? http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7864
Technically Redux Technologies (RDX) is still a part of the OSF. RDX has been taken off the trading board, but isn't delisted yet. The last correspondence from the RDX CEO led me to believe that he is coming back later this year in some capacity, so for now I'm leaving things as is. If/when the company comes back into compliance, everyones RDX shares will appear in their Portfolios again.

In the event that Redux Technologies (RDX) is delisted from Capital Exchange and/or ceases to exist, I will come up with a game plan to replace the replacement within the fund. This could come in the form of an SPO to raise the $50,000 needed to buy new shares, or me saving a % of dividends to buy into a new investment. When/if that time comes, I'll ask OSF shareholders what they think is best. Thanks.

Re: Whats new about the topic investor input? http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7864
1/Skip have done an effort by adding some eac shares to the osf fund...
2/i asked him to announce us if there is any dividend above 15.000ls to give us the choice between adding value(and increase the monthly dividends) ..or just getting the 15.000ls of dividends......in this case we could get 5000ls as dividend and he could add/buy some shares of a new company with the 10.000ls(15.000ls-5000ls) to rebuild slowly the assets....but it seems that i was asking an indecent favour

All i see now is to make a reverse split because i will never vote for paying and increasing the total number of shares in this stock as long as the redux shares included in this fund will not be cleaned or replaced by some other assets to maintain a correct value and dividends

Now if you want to be the lonely one to pay i will be happy to hear it but thats not what i can call a "reasonnable decision "....but you re clearly right something need to be done!....we are not babies to let the things going without finding reasonnable solution for everyone interest and the general interest will never be to increase the total number of shares without cleaning the shares which a 0ls value(redux shares) by a reverse split or by adding new assets

To make it cristal clear for you...if the dsf or gsf or osf give out 7000ls as dividend which funds are more attractive than osf???....the answer is dsf and gsf because they have 2millions shares when osf have 2.13 millions shares....

Whats new about the topic investor input? http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7864 Now the HCS is a part of BSF, this change gone away.....
So, now I must find the right english words for my idea I have what can be good for the OSF. How many RDX shares were in the OSF?
As a shareholder I stay at this point now: I lost somethings, deleting the part of RDX yes or no it is all the same and many said no to a new SPO. Why can we not got an offer for a new stock for the shareholders of OSF only? The new stock cost 48.000 or 50.000 L$ and I holding 4,7% of OSF, so I pay 2256 or 2350 L$. If any investor do the same the OSF have a new stock inside. In my eyes this sounds fair for the OSF investores at this moment.

Re: About assets and fund value http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7837
The 5 CapEx Stock Funds work differently than listed companies here. My goal was to provide some "starter" stocks that provide a small monthly return to investors every month, with minimal involvement from me. These weren't meant to be like a traditional fund where I was making daily decisions as to what to invest and what to pay as a dividend. I leave that for other traditional funds here at Capital Exchange, in which we have many of.

I do not favor setting aside dividends above L$15,000 for future investment. I need to stay neutral as much as possible in terms of what companies are invested in by my decisions. The only exception would be if there was a single windfall from liquidation or merger with another company of a stock the fund is invested in, and I used the lindens to buy stock I already bought at an IPO. In that case, I may choose to use some of those lindens to buy more stock and then pay the remainder as a dividend - and the stock purchased would be the L$48,000 in stock bought at a company's IPO. This way I am not actively competing against other traders to buy stock on the open market.

Note that even the "small" monthly dividends equal to a huge number annually. For example, for OSF, a "small" monthly dividend of only L$4,000 a month factored out 12 months in a row comes to about L$.022 per year per share dividend. The IPO price was .25L per share - that is an annual return of about 8.9%, which I think is fantastic. Everyone has to remember that stocks within the game aren't meant to make you rich overnight. These funds are not ponzi schemes like the old days of banking that paid 33% annually in interest. Over a long period of time however, you can make a huge profit just through dividends, but the return on investment is more realistic.

Anyways, hope this explanation helped. Thanks.

Re: About assets and fund value http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7837
It's my policy to pay everything out as a dividend monthly. The only exception will be if there is a windfall from a large merger or buyout, in which I may add a new investment stock to a portfolio. Right now, OSF has L$6,903.60 to pay out as a dividend for March, and I intend to pay that entire amount. Thanks for your question.

I'm not going to post a new list of assets each time it changes for the 6 companies and funds I'm responsible for. It's simply too much work for me. Starting in April, all companies will have the chance to post all their current assets with their Quarterly Financial Report. I see no problem in being able to do this quarterly. Thanks.

Re: News Story: OSF - Investor Options, Seeking Input http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7621
To answer honestly and this is only my opinion
1/alain paid slg at a "liquidation price" and not at a "merger price"like kakfa did it for AMF(this is the same difference as between a delocalisation and a liquidation in real...as far as i have understood the"slg activity "havent been stopped(so that wasnt a liquidation),the assets are held and used till today....conclusion =>i have lost half of my investisment...part of my dividends...osf shareholders have lost some dividends...and vtm shareholders didnt have seen the initial dividend policy respected(here is the row thruth that anybody can see without reading my words)
2/he came in some forums(sas for example)to annoy the ceo .(most time when the company gives out more dividend than vtm)....the ceo purposed a vote to ban him from the sas forum.....i have voted against alain's banissement and for the liberty to express our opinions even if we are not agree with the others....but alain have started to delete all my posts in his forum as soon as he understood that i will not change my mind and my decision to exit his company as soon as possible
3/now he is strongly in favour of a spo which will dilute the value of the osf fund....i suppose that he is not in the mood to help to maintain or add value to this fund(if you check the company info page of osf alain and vtm are involved in osf fund)....dont forget that the little shareholders will be more impacted by such a dilution....and at the end they will loose all their investisment with the time and the numerous spo's if nothing is done
4/and finaly...in my opinion he dont follow all the basic obligations that skip have stated for the cerc members...he isnt impartial
Ps:if i m clearly disagree with him...i dont use any blue words against him....

But alain is not the subject of this thread...so feel free to comment the suggestions below as they are part of the subject of the thread/Or to purpose something as you are a greek fund shareholder ...you are also concerned by the protection of your investisment ....more than the protection of alain.... i suppose:)(if you arent an undeclared ceo's alt of course...lol....after all what have been wrote and the importance of the subject you just noticed my little sentences about alain...lol once again)

I will perfectly understand if skip decide to delete my post as this one is not directly related to this thread

Re: News Story: OSF - Investor Options, Seeking Input http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7621
As mr alain seems to be more interested to substract/dilute value from this fund rather than helping to add or maintain a correct value ....:)
1/ maybe skip could check if there is no osf shares host by someone who is not listed on sl anymore.....

2/maybe it could be interesting to open a thread asking who could accept a reverse split to maintain the value of this fund before purposing a spo vote and what reasonnable limit max we would see before a reverse split happend for this fund and the others of course in the future.....assuming that a SPO will be purposed for hcs
========================
The other solution could be to do a spo for the new companies not listed yet by any greek funds and ,by this way, create a new greek fund.....but that will not solve this matter and this question will come back again and again...
========================
Now to do some silly suggestions:
Skylos and some others purposed to retain part of the greek funds dividends to buy new assets....
1/maybe making some donation with shares rather than with ls could be interesting for the greek funds....(of course an effort made with a donation=an effort made without paying the transaction fees and of course the donations will be announced and nominative to know who effectively help)

2/maybe stoping to give back the shares for free to the ceo's when someone is not listed on sl anymore since long time....but selling or auctionning the shares could bring fees that could be used to replace the assets of the funds /Or given these shares to the greek funds to replace the assets of the failing companies could be interesting

3/the same for the ls on the scalpex account of the avatars who are not listed on sl anymore ....after a vote of course...or simply implementing this option when some create an account on scalpex....by this way each of us will decide where should go our ls if our account become an "Inactive accounts"

http://www.slcapex.com/forums/topic/RULES/7622

I clearly think that this reclaimed shares are not the best solution....lol...i just got another silly idea....maybe the ceo's could still have the possibility to reclaim their company shares but they will have the choice to donate these shares to the greek funds (for free of course) or to buyback them at the open market price and the ls and fees will go to the greek funds reserve(1reserve for all the greek funds by this way we anticipate the matters and already have a reasonnable solution as the owners will be interested to buyback undervalued shares and donate overvalued shares)

Ps maybe my suggestions are not the best....but i suggest something else than a dilution....feel free to comment these suggestions...

Re: News Story: OSF - Investor Options, Seeking Input http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7621 For my part i have given my opinion and i have also given some detailled arguments to demonstrate why my opinion is this one....i will not take such a big loss alone....i will not force anybody to have the same opinion as mine....the other shareholders who invest for the long term should probably think of this before approuving a spo in the suggested procedure....for the daytraders the spo is clearly a benediction(more shares...less value per share)...i include myself in the daytraders but i dont forget that some little investor also invest in the greek funds for the long term(because thats also partialy my case)

But to answer your question....cuting the dividends of the greek funds will kill the interest of the greek funds

Now if the final decision came to a reverse split before any new spo...i personaly would like that this loss taken become a reference for all the greek funds to give a limit max maybe at 2.000.000 or 2.100.000(with this limit at 2.1 millions shares this means that we should destroy 227.000 shares before doing the hcs spo...) for 10 companies before a reverse split happend to maintain a correct valuation in the general interest

Ps:as alain was so in favour for the hcs spo....maybe he could make a donation with some vtm shares as he had contribute to this loss of value for the osf fund(lower dividends)and of course i m not talking about 100 or 1000 shares but about 12.000 shares at least...i suppose he will be strongly against lol....

Re: News Story: OSF - Investor Options, Seeking Input http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7621 A (reverse) split is when a company decides it needs more or less shares without creating or destroying shares.
for example, you own 800000 shares wich is 40%. After a reverse split of 2 to 1 you would have 400000 shares and still 40%. The value and profit would double but the number of shares cut in half.

Re: News Story: OSF - Investor Options, Seeking Input http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7621 But lets calculate a little bit...
1/.abs have been delisted without destroying the osf shares created for abs spo
2/only 24000 eac have replaced the 48000 abs shares for the dividends(that s what i have understood but i wasnt here so i m not sure of this)
3/slg which were giving out 100%of profit as dividend have merged with vtm=>consequence=>the slg shares have been cut by 4 and vtm give out only 25%as dividend
4/redux will probably be delisted without destroying the osf shares created for the redux spo
5/we will do a spo and add 200.000new osf shares created for hcs spo

Conclusion=>i suppose that osf have 300.000 shares(half of the abs shares which have not been replaced by eac shares+redux shares) in excess or which have a value=0ls +less dividends due to slg/vtm merger.....

If nobody see the loss of value or at least the dilution that means that i m blind:)!...
2solutions.....we clean up....or we keep on like that.....but for me casper was perfectly right....no growth in the dilution
But all i know is that the decision taken right now will become a reference for the future and for the other greek funds

What you are proposing, can only be done by a reverse split of 10 to 9, unless an existing OSF shareholder donates the number of shares needed. A reverse split would only have cosmetic value. I like the idea, mentioned earlyer by several people, to use profits to (perhaps bit by bit) buy HCS, insted of paying dividend.

Re: News Story: OSF - Investor Options, Seeking Input http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7621
for me the greek funds are like the derivatives, if a company doesnt exist anymore, the derivatives which have been created have no value and no reason to exist anymore too

my opinion is simple, if we do the spo right now 4new osf shares =1hcs share in value and assets(appromatively), so for me these shares will act like a derivative and will be linked(or related or assimilate or connected or attached<=choose the word you prefer) to hcs

now, skip and anybody else can explain me anything, i know i m limited in english and probably in my mind too, but thats what i see=>redux delisted(value of redux shares =0ls)=osf shares created for the redux spo(value =0ls)
Now like casper said if we do 10 consecutives spo to finaly have 5 companies which give out dividends and 13 which have been delisted without destroying the shares created during the several spo's....what will become this osf fund??....a company like bdvr which have 10 millions shares and give out 3000ls/month as dividend!
I didnt invest so much in this fund to come to this kind of result else i will have put my ls directly in bvdr

so if the osf shares created for the redux spo are not destroyed, the real osf shares value is under the actual prices(and 0.24ls is too expensive regarding this particular fact)

IMPORTANT NOTE
1/i was probably the 1st to ask to skip to add a company to the osf fund, but done like that, i dont think its a good thing for the next 3months, else those who will buy now(at 0.24ls), will probably see the price of the shares falling soon(because it become obvious that we have an excess of nearly 200.000shares with a value=0)
2/dont forget that i have 800.000 osf shares and that could be my best reason to say"hey believe in the futur or trust in faith and go ahead"....regarding only my personal interests.if i was as selfish as some people can think
3/ if nobody understand what i mean, i can say it in french and you will have the possibility to use google translation

In fact let's put something else as example for this SPO business here.

Imagine, all titels in the greek fund develop like RDX, we don't hope such of course... thenwhat would happen if we follow the suggested procedure?

The result would be to invite 10 new companies into the greek fund of OSF and each time suggest a SPO. In the end we would have a greek fund with the double number of shares...

Well, I know that I possibly always slept in maths and Lemmy just understand a little bit about fluid mechanics what not always helops in financial matters... rather strange for a Lemurian, but it could be the source of the likelyhood that I'm totally wrong... what I know for sure is that Skip doesn't just think on the commission he receives if he could do all those SPO's, but he can better explain this as I can, I believe

Re: News Story: OSF - Investor Options, Seeking Input http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7621
Dividends paid by any company are derived from profit after expenses. OSF gets revenue when the companies it invested in pay a dividend. It also gets revenue when OSF shares are bought/sold at Capital Exchange. Since the fund has no expenses, all this revenue turns into profit. I pay 100% of OSF profit towards dividends.

For example, the CapEx Omega Stock Fund owns shares of EAC. EAC paid a dividend of L$655.17, so that amount is put towards dividends for OSF shareholders. Other companies that paid dividends contribute towards OSF revenue as well. In addition, OSF gained revenue of L$1,783.15 in trading fee revenue for January so far. So all this goes towards the dividends to be paid for January, which currently is at L$7,604.93. Thanks.

Re: News Story: OSF - Investor Options, Seeking Input http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7621
You are incorrect. The new proposed shares would not be "attached" to HCS. I know English isn't your first language, but I want to make sure you understand how stock works. Any new SPO shares created are just like any other existing shares. So by selling new OSF shares, that would allow the fund to buy any new assets. It could be an in-world object, or indens spent on advertising, or anything else. In this particular case, the proposed SPO would be to purchase HCS shares.

To answer your question, God forbid if HCS delists similar to RDX (which I doubt will happen) then the new OSF shares would still exist. OSF shares don't get destroyed when assets are lost. They remain "forever" unless the company wishes to buy them back.

I m wrong or csv have paid 48000ls to buy hcs and part of hcs assets?
CSV Republic48,000=>the spo will not be made for these shares?

Now if hcs doesnt exist anymore in 1 month....what will be the value of these 190.000 new osf shares???.24ls?....0.50ls?....or 0ls?

And why keeping osf shares attached to redux if redux doesnt exist anymore...

There are no "shares attached" to RDX. RDX is a company listed on Capital Exchange, and OSF owns shares of RDX - not the other way around.

Re: News Story: OSF - Investor Options, Seeking Input http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7621
Because I own Capital Exchange, I feel I cannot ethically buy and sell shares on the open market. The 5 CapEx Stock Funds merely buy shares, and then hold for dividends to be paid out. I also give additional trading revenue from CapEx Transaction Fees to each fund to help create extra revenue for dividends.

Only in the case of mergers or companies failing do I take any action of selling off assets, or buying new ones. In any of these cases, I never buy or sell shares via Limit Order. because I can see the Order Book, I don't believe it's ethical for me to buy and sell on the open market. Other exchanges owners do this now or have done this in the past, and I think it's nothing but unethical stealing from other traders. So that is why I do not actively buy and sell shares for each of the 5 funds to try and get the "best deals" and the best return on investment.

As for the value of the SPO price, I simply took the 90-day closing price average. I don't think that because that 90-day price average is below the original IPO price in 2011 that makes anything "dangerous" - it simply means that within the last 90 days people have been buying and selling a few pennies below the original IPO price. Note that the asset value is different than the 90-day closing price average.

Since I pay 100% of revenue as dividends (the fund has no expenses) if the fund wishes to buy new assets, it must raise SPO funds. If I stopped paying a dividend to collect the lindens necessary to buy the HCS shares, I would have to wait about 1 years to do so. Not paying a dividend for a year would seriously make the OSF price collapse. So if OSF is going to buy new assets, an SPO is the only way to go.

As for your other statements, again that was addressed above. This fund is different because I cannot buy and sell shares on the open market. However note that the price the HCS shares are being purchased at are less than L$1.00 per share - and HCS is currently trading at much higher, as well as paying dividends. So while new OSF shares are created, HCS could raise the value per share too.

Thanks for your comments.

You can see how many shares are part of each company by clicking the "Research" link on each company's area. "Total shares in company" gives the total number of shares.

The RDX shares that OSF invested in will be gone forever, if RDX is liquidated and delists. If the fund wishes to invest in Hostcrate (HCS) the fund will have to raise new lindens to buy the shares. I explained in my post how many lindens will be necessary. The Secondary Public Offering (SPO) funds will be used to buy the HCS shares.

So yes, creating new OSF shares will dilute the fund, however HCS will pay dividends so while there will be more shares, there will also be more dividend potential.

I have no time frame to do the SPO. I am merely asking for opinions at the moment. It may not even be done. Thanks.

Re: News Story: OSF - Investor Options, Seeking Input http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7621 I didnt check the forum in detail previously....but i dont think ABSShares contained in osf fund have been destroyed completely
As far as i have understood ....the ABSshares have been partialy (i suppose)replaced by 24000 EACshares for adding some dividends to the fund(that doesnt mean that the 24.000eacshare=the previous absshares
Now its clear that a decision have to be taken...

1/we go further disregarding what should have been done previously(and we do a spo clearly undervalued to attenuate the overvalue of a fund which have too much shares with a value at 0ls)
2/skip decide to assume the redux delistement and give us 48000ls in value from his pocket(that means that hcs is added to osf without spo assuming the eac didnt replaced abs completely....so the fund have still some shares at 0ls )
3/all the shareholders and skip decide to clean up this fund....the shareholders will take an immediate loss and skip will give some of his shares to reevaluate the fund to have a fund wich nearly 2 millions shares which have an assets attached to

The 1st solution is probably the solution which will be taken....we close the eyes...ignoring the matters...and the consequences will be for the next shareholders

What i dont understand is why a company should be delisted without destroying the shares related to this company in the fund in which this company is....that could be something like"a company doesnt exist anymore...but the shares of this company still exist"....lol...

Re: News Story: OSF - Investor Options, Seeking Input http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7621 1) As a fund manager why is it that this particular fund still possesses shares in a company which is going down? isn’t it the Fund Manager’s job to foresee these events and take action before it is too late?
2) Why is it — and it is where I am starting to be dangerously worried — when a SPO is decided, this one is valuated at a price lower than the IPO or even bellow the current market price thus bringing the value of the share down and forcibly losing investment money to the ones who had bought the share at the original price or the ones having bought shares at a higher price afterwards and finding overnight that one has suddenly lost a good amount of capital thanks to the SPO? — unfortunately I had bad experience in that domain —
3) Why is it necessary for the fund to raise money in order to buy new shares, isn’t there part of the dividends kept aside to that aim — as it should be in order for the fund to grow, as one was made to believe, when these were created —?
To come to the question raised and since it is obviously too late for the Fund Manager to pull out of RDX before losing the value and henceforth for the fund to lose some of its assets at the share holders’cost .............. if money must be raised to buy other shares in order to try to at least maintain the value of the dividends and therefore a SPO proposed to that aim, it would be logical that the value of the newly created shares be at least at the current market value, not lower.................. thus keeping the value of the fund instead of devaluating it and aggravating the present share holders’ lost. To summarise and for the above reasons, personally I do not mind a SPO as long as this one does not further devaluate the fund value.

That will not change much things to have 9 or 10 companies as we have already have 9 dividends since few times....

i have 1 question....how much osf shares we will have in the fund in total?because when redux have been added to the osf fund you have done a spo or whatever ....so the fund will loose part of its value by creating additionnal shares....?or the previous redux shares will be replaced by the new hostcrate shares?
1/if the previous redux shares contained in osf are destroyed....i m agree with the spo

2/if the previous redux shares are not destroyed and the new hostcrate added we will have 2.3millions shares for the fund and that will dilute the dividend...in this case i will be against

3/if you dont plan to reduce the total number of shares for the fund....run your numbers considering that the redux shares already contained in osf fund have 0ls as value and purpose us a price which will compensate this dilution regarding this fact

When do you plan to run this spo?

News Story: OSF - Investor Options, Seeking Input http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/7621
As many of you know, it looks like Redux Technologies (RDX) is going to be delisting. I estimate the payback for the 29,792 shares of RDX held by the fund to be very small - less than L$1,500 once all RDX assets are liquidated and paid to the 29,792 shares (there are only about L$24,000 in RDX assets at the exchange to liquidate).

This means we have a choice to be made if the company delists. We can simply pay the L$1,500 as part of the next dividend, and only have 9 companies invested in instead of 10, or I can do an SPO for to purchase 48,000 Hostcrate (HCS) shares to add to the funds' investments. I wish to have OSF shareholder input here in the forum as to which path to take. If I see there is serious dissent in opinion, I may even do a shareholders vote and majority will rule, but first I just wish to get some input from OSF shareholders.

Because this SPO is to replace assets from a failed company, I have decided to combine some incentives/lindens to create as few new shares of OSF as possible. Let me explain what they would be if OSF shareholders decide to do an SPO:

1) I would waive the SPO fee of 3.99%. This means that instead of raising L$50,000, only L$48,000 will need to be raised.

2) If I assume L$1,500 will come in from the RDX assets liquidation, that further reduces the number of lindens need to L$46,500. if the amount is less than L$1,500, I will use my personal lindens to make up the difference.

3) If HCS is added as an investment, L$523.78 has already been paid as dividends since I bought the shares at the time of the SPO. So these lindens would be subtracted from what is needed as well.

So subtract L$4,023.78 from L$50,000, and the number of lindens needed to be raised is L$45,976.22. The 90-day trading average rounded up is .24L per share, so that is what I would do the SPO price for. This means the proposed SPO would be 191,568 new OSF shares at .24L per share.

The bottom line is this: Do you wish to do nothing, and only have 9 companies invested in instead of 10 (reducing future dividends in $L), or perform an SPO for 191,568 new shares at .24L per share, so 48,000 Hostcrate (HCS) shares can be added to the fund as an investment? Please only OSF shareholders give your thoughts. Thank you.

News Story: OSF Projected October Dividend http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/6913
The Omega Stock Fund (OSF) is projecting to pay a dividend on October 1st of L$7,419.12 - this amount is one of the higher monthly dividends paid recently, but not the highest.

If you include the upcoming projected dividend, in the first 12 months since the inception of the fund, OSF will have paid L$90,261.84 in dividends. For those that bought at the IPO price of .25L per share, you will have made a profit of .0422841L per share - that's an annual return of 16.91%!

So to all the smart people that have held onto OSF from the beginning - or have been smart enough to buy recently, congratulations on your profit. I hope to continue the same high returns over the next 12 months. Happy trading!

Another L$10,000 Donated To CapEx Stock Funds Dividends! http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/6397
The good news continues to get even better. A few days ago I announced that an anonymous donor wished to donate L$5,000 towards dividends for the 5 CapEx Stock Funds: Beta Stock Fund (BSF), Delta Stock Fund (DSF), Gamma Stock Fund (GSF), Omega Stock Fund (OSF), and Sigma Stock Fund (SSF). What this meant is that an extra L$1,000 was considered revenue for each fund, and will paid out as dividends July 1st.

Well, this inspired a different anonymous person to donate another L$10,000 (L$2,000 more for each fund!) towards the dividends. Here is the message the anonymous donor has for everyone about this "super-dividend":

"Since the CapEx Stock Funds belong to all of us, I think it is a nice way to say thank you for the fun of playing to all."

The additional L$2,000 in dividends per fund will greatly enhance the payment on July 1st (L$3,000 per fund including the original L$1,000 donation). My personal thanks to the two anonymous donors who contributed. Anyone else that wishes to contribute, I surely won't complain :-) 100% of what you donate goes towards dividends. Thanks again.

News Story: EA Creations (EAC) Joins CapEx Omega Stock Fund! http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/5967
As you are probably aware by now, Absolut Model Group (ABS) has been delisted from Capital Exchange. From the initial investment of L$48,000, only L$8,761.17 was paid back to the CapEx Omega Stock Fund with remaining assets so far. Under normal circumstances this would mean a large loss for the fund.

However, I am stepping in and covering some of the loss myself. I am donating L$24,000 of EA Creations (EAC) (60,000 shares) to the CapEx Omega Stock Fund to make up for the loss. From this point forward, all dividends from EAC will go towards OSF revenue, and EAC will be considered invested in by OSF.

This move will help create more revenue, as EAC is already a solid dividend-paying company. ABS never paid much dividends while listed with us, so EAC will only be an improvement.

We are serious about keeping your trust and I hope all OSF shareholders appreciate this gesture from me and Capital Exchange. Note that this is not going to be a standard policy, and this may only be done this one time for OSF. Regardless, thank you for investing in the CapEx Omega Stock Fund, and keep the faith.

CapEx Stock Funds (BSF DSF GSF OSF and SSF) Now Paying Monthly Dividends http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/5851
I have finally given in to the almost weekly whining from many CapEx Stock Fund investors, and even though this is going to result in much more work for me, I have decided to start paying a monthly dividend for the 5 CapEx Stock Funds (Beta, Delta, Gamma, Omega and Sigma). I hope this will encourage more active trading in these funds, which are paying a fantastic return on investment already. Do not expect a lot of dividends per month however - that is why I felt waiting every 3 months was best. But if it makes more investors happy, I'll give it a go.

Dividends will be paid the first week of every month, and will cover the period of the prior month. Financials will still only be done quarterly. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Now leave me alone :-)

CapEx Stock Funds Dividend Projections - Looking Good! http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/5806
I would like to give everyone some projected dividends for the 5 CapEx Stock Funds. For those that are unfamiliar with the 5 CapEx Stock Funds, let me give you a brief explanation.

The 5 CapEx Stock Funds are:

Beta Stock Fund (BSF)
Delta Stock Fund (DSF)
Gamma Stock Fund (GSF)
Omega Stock Fund (OSF)
Sigma Stock Fund (SSF)

Each fund invests in up to 10 companies. 100% of dividends paid by those companies to each fund, go towards dividends. In addition, 1% of each stock sale for a particular fund's stock goes towards revenue for that particular fund (the exchange normally charges 1.75% as a Transaction Fee, so 1% of this goes back to each fund). For example, if someone sells 10,000 shares of BSF at .25L per share, the BSF fund gains revenue of 25L. Each fund is managed by myself, and I do not take any salary for doing this. So all revenue goes towards dividends.

Here are the current quarterly dividend projections for each fund. **Note that these projections will go up if dividends are paid by a company between now and March 31st!**

Beta Stock Fund (BSF): L$8,178.71
Delta Stock Fund (DSF): L$35,151.49
Gamma Stock Fund (GSF): L$17,750.61
Omega Stock Fund (OSF): L$15,014.60
Sigma Stock Fund (SSF): L$15,965.80

Let's take a look at what the projected annual return will be for each CapEx Stock Fund. **Note that these projections will go up if dividends are paid by a company between now and March 31st!**

Beta Stock Fund (BSF)

Last 2 dividends for 90-day periods:
L$28,999.22, L$8,178.71 = L$37,177.93
Total Shares: 1,956,250
Projected 6-month dividend per share: .019L
Projected 12-month dividend per share: .038L (doubling last 6 month performance)

If you bought BSF at this price, you could this % annually through dividends (note this is a PROJECTION only):

.20L per share: 19.0% Annual Return
.25L per share: 15.2% Annual Return
.30L per share: 12.7% Annual Return

Delta Stock Fund (DSF)

Last 2 dividends for 90-day periods:
L$22,339.89, L$35,151.49 = L$57,491.38
Total Shares: 1,600,000 (at 1st full dividend)/2,000,000 (at last dividend)
Projected 6-month dividend per share (at 2,000,000 shares): .0287L
Projected 12-month dividend per share: .0574L (doubling last 6 month performance)

If you bought DSF at this price, you could this % annually through dividends (note this is a PROJECTION only):

.20L per share: 28.7% Annual Return
.25L per share: 23.0% Annual Return
.30L per share: 19.1% Annual Return

Gamma Stock Fund (GSF)

Last 2 dividends for 90-day periods:
L$20,927.78, L$17,750.61 = L$38,678.39
Total Shares: 1,608,333 (at 1st full dividend)/2,008,333 (at last dividend)
Projected 6-month dividend per share (at 2,008,333 shares): .019L
Projected 12-month dividend per share: .038L (doubling last 6 month performance)

If you bought GSF at this price, you could this % annually through dividends (note this is a PROJECTION only):

.20L per share: 19.0% Annual Return
.25L per share: 15.2% Annual Return
.30L per share: 12.7% Annual Return

Omega Stock Fund (OSF)

Last 2 dividends for 90-day periods:
L$28,171.21, L$15,014.60 = L$43,185.81
Total Shares: 2,134,648
Projected 6-month dividend per share: .020L
Projected 12-month dividend per share: .040L (doubling last 6 month performance)

If you bought OSF at this price, you could this % annually through dividends (note this is a PROJECTION only):

.20L per share: 20.0% Annual Return
.25L per share: 16.0% Annual Return
.30L per share: 13.3% Annual Return

Sigma Stock Fund (SSF)

Last 2 dividends for 90-day periods:
L$31,786.03, L$15,965.80 = L$47,751.83
Total Shares: 2,008,333
Projected 6-month dividend per share: .0238L
Projected 12-month dividend per share: .047L (doubling last 6 month performance)

If you bought SSF at this price, you could this % annually through dividends (note this is a PROJECTION only):

.20L per share: 23.5% Annual Return
.25L per share: 18.8% Annual Return
.30L per share: 15.7% Annual Return

SUMMARY:

The 5 CapEx Stock Funds are performing extremely well. In a worst-case scenario, people should be earning about 12.5% if they bought at .30L per share. A best-case scenario someone could be earning 28.5%. I think that is incredible. I do have to say that I am a little disappointed though that there isn't more trading happening with these funds. This lower than expected trading activity has reduced my initial estimates of how well each fund would perform in terms of dividends. Still, I think the projected return on investment (ROI) levels of 12.5% - 28.5% are something to be proud of.

Expect quarterly dividends to be paid on April 1st or 2nd. Any questions, feel free to ask. Thank you for being a part of Capital Exchange!

L$10,215 Donated To CapEx Stock Funds Dividends! http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/5752
It's the normal policy of Capital Exchange to take reclaimed Lindens from inactive accounts and allocate them towards website updates. Since a large Secondary Public Offering (SPO) was just conducted for that purpose, I have decided to allocate L$10,215 of recently reclaimed Lindens towards the 5 CapEx Stock Funds. They are:

Beta Stock Fund (BSF)
Delta Stock Fund (DSF)
Gamma Stock Fund (GSF)
Omega Stock Fund (OSF)
Sigma Stock Fund (SSF)

The total allocated towards dividends for each fund was L$2,043.00. The next dividends for these 5 funds will be paid the first week of April. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you!

(RDX) Redux Technologies 29,792 L$39,325.44
(SLG) Sri Laxmi Ganapathi Vent. 34,849 L$35,545.98
(VTM) Virtual Tallinn Merch 28,263 L$84,506.37
(ZEN) Zhenya Zoning Real Estate 40,000 L$42,000.00

If you want to base the total stock value on the last price times the number of shares, OSF is worth L$526,682.99. Note that L$48,000 was purchased for each company, and L$2,000 was put towards fees and expenses for each, so the original amount invested was L$500,000. That's a 5.34% increase not including the Lindens in reserve of L$26,552.60. So the value of the fund has increased by a little over 5%, which isn't bad.

Just like the Beta Stock Fund, I have decided to pay the entire balance each quarter for the dividend, instead of holding back a partial balance. So for half of Q4, with 2,134,648 outstanding shares and L$26,552.60 to be paid towards dividends so far, that means right now a little more than .012L per share dividend could be paid. With 2 more rounds of dividends to be paid, the amount per share could reach more than .02L.

Any questions about this update, please feel free to ask. Thanks for being a part of the CapEx Omega Stock Fund.

SPO For Omega Stock Fund (OSF) Starts 11/2 2 PM SLT http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/4439
Please be advised that the CapEx Omega Stock Fund (OSF) will be conducting a Secondary Public Offering (SPO) of stock on Wednesday, November 2nd at 2 PM SLT. The SPO will be for L$100,000 to cover the purchases I have already made in BR Corporation (BRC) and SmartBots (BOTS). OSF IPO hares are extremely low in price, reduced to only .19L per share! This will truly be a bargain.

To buy shares after the IPO is activated 2 PM SLT on 11/2, use this link here:

http://slcapex.com/ipo

Here is the final list of companies OSF will invest in. Note that there will be no more companies added to the Omega Stock Fund, unless one below delists for some reason.

Omega CapEx Stock Fund (OSF)

Absolut Model Group
BR Corporation (BRC)
Graves Apothecary & More
Nintai Brokerage Corporation
Nestler Investment Corporation
Redux Technologies
SmartBots (BOTS)
Sri Laxmi Ganapathi Ventures
Virtual Tallinn Merch
Zhenya Zoning Real Estate

Any questions, please ask. Thank you.

New "Greek Fund" (BSF, DSF, GSF, OSF and SSF) Policy Announced http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/4436
First some clarification. The reason I call these 5 funds "Greek Funds" is that Beta, Delta, Gamma, Omega and Sigma are Greek alphabet letters. These funds are not connected in any way to Greece or any high risk bonds associated with their debt. I had a few people ask, so I felt clarifying that was wise :-)

I want to say that so far I'm pleased at how the funds are operating. Dividends are starting to accumulate, and the next dividend will be paid around the first week of January. As time goes on and more shareholders buy and sell shares, daytrading will increase.

For information on how the Greek Funds work, please read use link:

http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/general/3792

With that being said, I'm announcing that I am going to place a cap on the number of companies invested with each fund to 10. A few traders felt it was not good to keep adding new companies to each fund, because it made it hard to predict the future of how well the fund would do, and would prohibit some from investing due to the uncertaintity. I never thought of that before, and I can see the point. So effective immediately, once 10 companies are reached, there will be no new SPO's for that fund. Only if a company delists would there be a "replacement" stock added, and a new L$50,000 SPO performed.

The next SPO that will be done will be for the Omega Stock Fund. BOTS and BRC will be added to round out to 10 companies. Sigma will also be done, adding RVI and ARK to make that 10 invested as well. As future companies join the exchange, I'll announce which will be added to what fund.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.

Listed below are the stock purchases I made for the Omega Stock Fund. I purchased up to L$48,000 of stock in each company. There were around 3 Lindens left over due to not enough Lindens to purchase another share under L$48,000, so they will be distributed as part of the dividends.

Ticker/Company/Shares/Value

(GAP) Graves Apothecary and More 64,000 L$58,880.00
(NBC) Nintai Brokerage Corp. 75,000 L$48,000.00
(NIC) Nestler Investment Corp. 9,600 L$55,488.00
(RDX) Redux Technologies 29792 L$52,136.00
(SLG) Sri Laxmi Ganapathi Vent. 34,849 L$52,273.50
(VTM) Virtual Tallinn Merch 28,263 L$42,394.50
(ZEN) Zhenya Zoning Real Estate 40,000 L$54,000.00

Total Lindens For Purchases: L$335,997.00
Total Current Value (Last Price): L$363,172.00 (+7.5% Gain)

NOTE: Value was determined at the time of this post, and changes by the trade. Also, I plan on paying the first Quarterly Dividend sometime in mid-October. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.

Re: Omega Stock Fund IPO http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/OSF/3963
People have a right to be cautious especially in these difficult economic times, but I think there is still plenty of capital out there to fulfill this IPO, as well as all the other planned IPO's/SPO's upcoming - and at the time time keep brisk trading for existing companies too.
