Dividend calculation Clarification
I've been trying to figure out why people are selling JTIC shares at such a discount. It seems insane to me to be accepting only 7% profit from selling shares right away
when the profit potential is much higher.

Assuming someone purchases 10,000 shares of JTIC.
Would the interest earned(previously said to be .2% daily) compound daily for the entire month until the dividend was paid out?

Or will it be a flat .2% per day for the entire month?

The difference on 10,000 shares is only 17L every 30 days
But for larger amounts over 6 months it would be significant.

Thanks,

Re: High Yield Accounts
Anyone who put money into JTIC and doesn't think they'll get at least what they put in back doesn't really understand JT Financial.

This is a extreemly secure investement.
For this to fail, JT Financial would have to fail.

If JT Financial failed, this entire exchange and all the socks on it would fail at the same time.

I should clarify, that you need to purchase at a sane price.

Do the math folks and see this thread.

L&L Financial Services Public Forum » .40 spread this morning & trading halts
Re: .40 spread this morning & trading halts
I happen to dissagree.

I think it's doing exactly what it should be doing.

Note that the trigger is actually based on a sucessful transaction and not just an offer.

In this example the stock price crashed to 1/3 of it's last price so trading was halted. This give the investors some time to see if their panicking is justified. If it is justified then the stock can continue trading at 1/3 of the price the next day.

Then the stock price trippled the next day so trading was halted. This gives the investors some time to see if it's just irrational exuberance about the stock bouncing back.

Not that this is the case in this particular situation but in each of these cases if there was insider trading or some other fraudulent trading activity occuring, red flags would go up immediatly to management and they could investigate.

I happen to think this is a very usefull tool.

Nothing has changed Mika.

The fundamentals are still there and unless Arbitrage
says anything differently I expect things to continue
on as before.

Just a reminder.

Last I heard. Dividends will stop at the end of march
And the buyback should start in April.
