SLCapEx Suggestions » ATM Scammers be aware
ATM Scammers be aware
Hello everyone,
it seems different individuals are stealing money using a smart method to cover the ATM with an invisible prim. yesterday i was at the capex when a trader said he lost money to a scammer who was standing close to a ATM. today Enky Nakamura messaged me to come to the capex and we caught a scammer
performing. they use a very simple method, an invisible prim is attached(worn) to their Avatar and they stand close or behind a wall penetrating it with the worn prim, covering the ATM. Now if a customer is going to pay the ATM he will simply select their prim instead of the original ATM and when you are not paying attention on the payment popup you will pay the scammer.
i recommend moving the ATMs to the center of the building also security or staff should have ctrl+alt+t enabled to check for invisible prims who might cover the ATMs. what is really important ALWAYS check for the name on the payment popup so you are sure your moeny is sent to Arbitrage Wise.
good luck
