Capital Exchange Suggestions » Sub offices Sub offices |

| Would there be merit in opening sub offices, more than just affiliate machines, in sims representing major international RL locations, eg, London, Berlin & Paris as starters. Maybe as partner services if it was more than the CAPEX team could manage at present. Those are sims I have found and visited so far. Others may have more to suggest. |

| An ATM inside someone elses business space depends upon people going into that space and to happen to be looking for something. A shop unit in a prominent place would be it's own advert and if there was an ATM machine there, along with information boards and the ticker machine, that accepted deposits as well as at the HQ it is easier for people to begin trading. If it came to it I would be happy to donate the cost of such a shop unit for four weeks, and man it when I can. That would give opportunity to see if it made a difference. Initially it need only be supplied with an affiliate atm and info boards with TP links and space for current companies to present themselves briefly. If it didn't make a difference then nothing is lost. (Happy to hear from anyone else willing to help try it out.) |

| Anyone who thinks their every thought and idea is going to be welcomed with open arms needs to get themselves a big roll of cotton wool to wrap up in to protect from the knocks. lol I accept your decision, even if I don't agree with it. the offer still stands. Come back to me anytime on it. Best regards and lots of fun 'playing' I hope. |

General Investment Discussion » Crashing/devaluing stocks. Crashing/devaluing stocks. |

| Is someone deliberately crashing stocks to trigger trading halts? Someone is certainly selling single stocks thus depressing the stock price. |

General Investment Discussion » Crashing/devaluing stocks. Re: Crashing/devaluing stocks. |

| Thanks for seeing what I am getting at Cindy. I only started trading in stocks a little over a week ago. I have been investing a little extra each day and placing purchase orders with a subset of the total listed companies which I have chosen for my own reasons. but very frequently I check back on how the trades are going to find that one share has been sold to me. I also see people listing one or two shares at a bid price one point above mine. I can understand that one, at least, as someone trying to push me to up my bid. sometimes I do, often I don't. Instead I withdraw from that bid and go somewhere else. So to the CEO's of the companies I have bid for, if you see lots of very small share numbers being bid for in the list of outstanding bids, I apologise. (with my tongue firmly in my cheek) |

General Investment Discussion » Please! Let us sell short (sort of) play nicely Edited by moderator Aug 1st 2011, 07:05 |

| Children, children, if you can't play nicely together you might need your toys taken away from you!!!! IT'S A GAME!!! Play it seriously of course but play it remembering it is a game. If you play nastily you destroy the fun for others. If your language style can't avoid being offensive then silence is a useful way to avoid people seeing you as someone they wouldn't want to meet on a well lit street, let alone a dark alley. |

General Investment Discussion » New Concept - 5 CapEx Stock Funds Re: New Concept - 5 CapEx Stock Funds |
|
| From what I read, once each fund is established it will be largely static in terms of the stock it holds, except for purchasing a similar value of stock in new ipo's. After it is established it would primarily be a trading stock which pays out a dividend which has been made more consistent by being based on a spread of companies. On the other hand, the investment funds managed by the existing listed companies and brokers are expected to have internal growth and movement of stocks to maximise profit to investors. They look like two differerent vehicles to me. It bothers me a little that there will be a curcular process of each fund paying a dividend using the dividends it receives, which dividends were partly produced by being investors in these funds. Would that risk the funds becoming static and dead? |
