SLCapEx Suggestions » Major Holders List
Major Holders List
I'd advice CapEx Management strongly consider adding Major Holders list to each listed company. Major Holders List is standard on Yahoo finance. It adds transparency, as the percentage of CEO and insiders hold tells how commit they are.
Take the recent bankrupted company on WSE as example, none of the insider hold any big shares. In my experience in Sl trading, good company usually have at least over 50% own by insider. I believe CapEx is the most reliable exchange in SL, please consider adding this feature.

Re: Anybody home here?
What Tumult talking about is PUBLIC listed company operates in privately held company mode. If you are concerned just because someone posted "kick your ass' in a forum, then you shouldn't even be listed here, or in business at all.

Personal information such as phone# and address is for exchange management records and contact, not for public disclosure. (IMHO, Lindsay revealed too much but that's what make her trustworthy) IF you are taking thousands of dollars from the public, you need to make yourself credible and accountable.

Based on IntLibber saying, I'd say the exchange should hold 50% of IPO money, then release it slowly, eg. hold 30% in after first month, and so on. If the company need the money, then it is on loan base from the exchange with land rights or something.

Yes, stiff rules make good exchange for all of us!!!

Re: IPO and AVIX/SL CapEx
With the recent fall of CYB, I'd suggest IPO on SL CapEx should be for existing business with proven record ONLY, not for people who need money to start a business (or for CEO who post announcement every 4 months). This exchange is not a venture capital firm; there are others channel for that if you have good ideas and business plan.

No matter how many years of professional experience (funny how some people count their adult life as professional experience) or how many state license you have, some people just don't have the knowledge or the intention to run a successful business in SL.

SLCapEx Suggestions » Fraud prevention
Re: Fraud prevention
I'm surprise this is not being done already. Perhaps SLEC member should be on board too.

In addition to perforance rating, I think there should be a score system for each company, similar to restaurant rating for cleanest. Something like if a company is SLEC member 5 points, if SLEC member on board 10 points, post financial statement monthly add 10 points, have email or phone contact info 15 points, or create a website for the company add 20 points (not pre-existing website like CYB, but a website created just for SL business such www.myllbt.com, it show how how committed they really are)

Re: RL ID important BNT is right
Yes, the moment a company is listed, the owner already traded his/her company with the public. If he/she can't provide simple info such name, email, and or location; who is going to trust him.

I understand the liability Lindsay had, we just need to find a way to get around it. eg. CEO will have to find some free webpage to disclose that information on their own, not via AVIX. We can judge how much a person is willing to disclose to public to trade thousands of dollars with investors.

Re: what is ginko doing
GPB IPO at 25L per share before he split it into 100 pieces, which mean each GPB should worth 0.25L (let forget the current trading price for a moment). So each 1L deposited should get 4 shares of GPB to be even close, Mr. Nicholas is cheating big time here.

Right before the gambling crisis, he pruchased 2 millions shares of HCL at 2.0L per share. He now hold 9 millions shares of HCL, to be fair, he should convert each 2L deposited to one share of HCL. It is mostly bank customer money anyway.

Mr. Nicholas has been making an effort to hide his RL identity, can we learn something here?

cash on hand 5000?
I'd question this company claims to have 100k income, but only have 5000L cash on hand? so, this company could not go forward without investor's money?

Just doesn't sounds right!!

Re: financial projections
Dimitri, do you mind tell us how do you come up with 1700k projected month profit? It seems a bit inflated.

Did you expect the bedrooms will be full all the time 24/7? I did some rough calculation, you will have to have income over 50k per day in order to come close. (assuming 20k profit from ad board and vendor per month) With 250L per hour room fee, you will need to have 200 uses per day; assuming you have 20 rooms which mean all of the room is occupied for 10 hours per day. Realistically, will all the room be occupied at the same time for 10 hours?

I don't mean to be skeptical, but IMHO if 50% of the rooms is occupied 50% of the time would be a hugh success already. (that's be roughly be 30k a day if you can do that)

Also, it'd be ideal to have some sort of hostess if it is to be a glorious playboy mansion style.

I do my price average on a piece of paper, write down every single trade, then add it up, divide the total share to get my average price. Some people do it in excel but my point is there should do a feature on the exchange to do that instead of doing it manually.
you know on Stock Transactions page, what if there is a check box at the end of each trade, you check the box on the trade you want to find out the average. eg.
