Thanks Strongman. I never gave up hope in the SL financial markets. The market will continue to exist unless LL decides to intervene such as banning Exchanges. Since nobody knows what the future holds, we should continue to move forward or else the market will remain a standstill and the only outcome would be that we have distressed investors and there’s a quite a lot here.

After the bank ban, pretty much all went downhill from there. I wouldn’t want to see the remaining Exchanges here to be another WSE and instead try to find potential solutions and actually allow for everyone to benefit “legitimately.” Bo and Samantha (SL CAPEX and VSTEX) believe in cooperation instead of working independently as there is only one financial market. I contacted Dagger of ISE to see if he’s in cooperation, but he never responded. Either way, there’s hope if the market works cooperatively.

Regarding classified ads, in-world ads that LL provides are crap. Businesses are just throwing money away as there are so many classifieds cluttered with everything else. Not a friendly environment. I also wasn’t able to find any services that advertise private businesses. Closest one I found was SL Marketing (spread your business like fire) was their slogan, but how helpful was that? Static ads only provide users with the link, but it doesn’t tell the whole story. If there are services such as this, please contact me in-world and will determine how to allow for private businesses to spread their word more effectively.

Am I off topic? Yes I am. I’ll end here.

Great answer on my previous post. I may need to exclude HOT and INC and possibly XXX as there is missing information.

I tried to contact Dagger in-world and he has not yet responded regarding RSS feeds in the trading page. I may need to exclude ISE if there is no response by the launch date, estimated mid-September.

You make a good point Hutch, and I will have to consider this.

Logically, it makes sense. Have you seen ISE financial statements? Some are 2 liners. Some are 4 liners. Some are no liners (not submitted and still trading). Some are even a few months old (last submitted as early as April and still trading). Even ISE financial statement doesn't make sense (they treat ISE stock as an asset). Unless investors don't mind seeing a bunch of lines with blanks and don't come back to me why it's showing up as blanks, then I'm ok with including ISE information. It's almost impossible to compare ISE financials with SL CAPEX financials unless others feel otherwise.

However, we also have to remember that both ISE and VSTEX are laxed in financial reporting. Would it be unfair to say that the listed companies that are submitting financials are not transparent only because the Exchanges allow them to do so? Off the bat we can say that both ISE and VSTEX are not transparent in financial reporting, but these are the policies that they abide to with their listed companies.

Thoughts?

No offense Samantha of course. But this would be in the best interest of the investors and I hope you see it this way.

Great to know that the Exchanges are communicating. I hope no Exchange will follow WSE's footsteps.

Wow, so the committee is now discussing if Jamar and Cadence may be related or even the same person? Great committee. Let them discuss about this topic for the remaining of 2008. Possibly when 2009 comes around, they will probably discuss where to find them.

Some good points made by both Hutch and Huff and I will consider these services as part of my tool. I've never really thought about the whole fruit salad as this will be quite hard to implement. Imagine that the companies have abided to the Exchange’s Reporting Policies, but it’s also valid to state that the companies’ financials are not sufficiently transparent to the investors. For instance, many companies have 2 liners and yet these companies are still trading. This tool will place both the companies and Exchanges in the spotlight.

My goal is to not have oversight of any companies, and if anything is missing, this is strictly unintentional. This tool is made specifically for the financial market so let the comments continue to come in. I can’t code anything, but as long as this tool is not yet launched, there is still room to make these changes. Once launched, consider the additional services as secondary until I can find a coder for ad hoc services.

Regarding XXX, noted and will be included. How about companies that was delisted such as L&L? Should this be included? Do we still have access to their financials?

Huff, interesting point made regarding CEO packages. Possibly you can provide me with further details in terms of what to include that they would like to see and for everyone can include their 2 cents as well. How about an Investor package of some sort?

Regarding guidance to the companies in red, can you explain what you mean by “offer guidance to their respective CEO’s on the reporting process?” Do you mean to offer accounting consultation services?

I was only being sarcastic Bo. Actions speak louder than words and clearly you're on the right path.

Re: SL CAPEX Listed Companies Information (Greater Transparency&
News. I’d like to create a section specifically for the investors to increase their knowledge on the history that impacted the financial market negatively. For instance, some of the subjects that I’ve encountered include: WSE Downfall, Casino Ban, Ginko Financial Collapse, Allenvest (AVIX) Debacle, Banking Ban, etc. I plan to include links/threads relevant to these issues in addition to other issues that should be addressed. Would anybody happen to know the articles associated with the following events? A direct link(s) would be most beneficial.

Publications and Financial Blogs. Thought this section might be useful as well. Although knowing the history of the financial market within SL will be useful, knowing the current events are even more important. Whether or not investors already know this, I’d like to create a page specifically of links to the mostly used/most trusted sites of publications and/or blogs. At the moment, I am considering SLR (SL Reports), Your 2nd Place, and Guardian Market’s Blog. Any other financial bloggers out there?

Re: SL CAPEX Listed Companies Information (Greater Transparency&
Huff,

Thanks for the explanation. I actually planned to create a link of the financial template explanations for the public to view and not just to the CEOs. Some of which are already included in the SL CAPEX original financial statement template, but I will definitely include further details that a new investor could understand. This would also include the financial ratios explanations as well. Kind of like an Info page.

A financial package that I am planning to include will be accounting services offered by SLFR Group. Afterall, I’m one of the partners and prefer to work as a strong team rather than a strong individual. Two pairs of eyes are better than one.

What I would like is for everyone to list the financial ratios they would like to include. I have already created a list to my coder which is currently being implemented on the mostly used financial ratios of the RL companies. When stating the financial ratios, it is necessary to specify the formulas as well as a link of reference.
