General Investment Discussion » Volume Today?! Wow! Re: Volume Today?! Wow! |
| in the last week the average stockprice lost 28% and over the last month it lost 38% ! It's fine when the number of people who whats to invest and buy shares is increasing, but more than this the number of people selling and making cash is increasing! Thats in fact very bad, because long term investors are loosing their money, if this is going on in this way it may affect the stability of the whole exchange in a very negative way! So analyze the facts and don't chear to much about increasing volume! |

| I don't know your portfolio, but congratulations it seems to be good! I think a month is not a too short period to look at the performance of your stocks, even if you are not a day trader. If I look at the last month there are of course some stocks with a good or very good performance. At first SLMS with +54% a very good performance, SLR +6,38% a good performance LNL +1,64% a stable performance but the majority had a bad performance, only some examples on 30 days base AIG -67% BNT -54% ZEN -34% DGD -39% INC -25% SLCX - 27% It's a buyers market? Things turn around in the long run? Well I don't see the turn around right now, but perhaps you know more. Tell us whats the base of your analysis! |

Brautigan & Tuck Holdings Public Forum » Commentary on the Financials? Re: Commentary on the Financials? |
| "We also found the Capex' financial statement template to be unworkable, complex, and overburdensome" No! really No! If you know anything about accounting in RL, you see at once that this template is a standart profit and loss statement that every professional RL company also uses! Of course if we talk about companies traded at the NYSE, it will be much more detailed, but the scheme is the same! That form is definitly much better and more informative than your SLEC standart, especially because you can see a difference between operational business and non recurring positions! For example what is "Stock/Bond Sales/Capital Gains $4,750,000" is that operational business??? does that include the sale of BNT shares? "Land Sales $3,187,607" is that operational business? maybe in the Capex template your number would not look anymore so fine, maybe thats the reason why you think that it "only confuses investors AND CEOs". I would assume that you absorb big losses in your core business by selling shares and land! Well the Capex' financial statement template is great work, a big step forward in building up a security exchange and I am really thankful to see it here, I hope that will be a necessarily standart for every company on Capex! Brautigan & Tuck Holdings Public Forum » Commentary on the Financials? Re: Commentary on the Financials? |
| hello Xavier, I agree with your statement, I am also member of SLEC and at the moment I see no reason for leaving. But that doesn't change the fact that the Capex financial statement template is definitly a better standart than the SLEC template. A financial report should provide reproducible informations about the finacial condition and the profit potential of the company to its shareholders and potential investors. What I see in IntLibbers report simply does NOT reach this goal! If this is the standart for financial reports that SLEC is approving, SLEC should strongly check their own standarts! |

Brautigan & Tuck Holdings Public Forum » Commentary on the Financials? Re: Commentary on the Financials? |
| Thank you Bogard Beck! I agree to all four pionts! Now its time for SLEC to react, not with words, but with action! For me as investor especially point two is very important! I need REPRODUCIBLE valid informations about the financial condition and the profit potential of the companies traded here to make my decisions! Without this informations trading is only speculating into the blue! The informations I got from the BNT Report are very much interpretable. For some reasons I can guess that the company is not working profitable at the moment, even though the report displays a net profit. I can only guess, because this report doesn't achieve to any accounting standart! For example I see revenues from Land Sales $3,187,607, but no expenses for buying land, or new sims! I guess the expanses for this land are payed in the not reported period before this report, but of course they should be seen here in this report, because otherwise the shown profit is not valid! I see Stock/Bond Sales/Capital Gains $4,750,000! What is this? no explanation, no comment! I guess this revenue is not part of the operational business and in this case BNT has made a big operational loss not clearly shown in this report! So please provide a new financial report, clear this questions and use the Capex template, that would be helpful if you really want transparency for your investors and if your talking about responsibility is more than big-mouthed talking! |

WNB Italian Lands » Share Holder meeting to decide... Re: Share Holder meeting to decide... |
| I also can't make it to the meeting, but here is my answer to that question. 66,3% of the IPO sold so far, 230K shares sold today! That looks good, I don't think that you need an extension, cause normally most shares will be sold in the last days. But if at the end only a little rest of shares remain, it makes no sense to roll back the IPO, but every sense to extend it! |

General Investment Discussion » Informal Proposal Re: Informal Proposal |
| I am just repeating the question of 7736237 Paine, because the answer is not quite clear to me! "will current land owners: receive a fixed price per sq.m to sell; be able to retain current land tier pricing and have the option to move with the SIM if it is not liquidated?" The answer was "we would have to move them some how since we will need to liquidate the entire sim" Well the question for me is still how are land owners compensated? |

| Yes! well I think in this case sooner or later Allen and his estates will vanish, the question is only will he cancel his account, or will Linden Lab do so! some people with high damages may try to take him to court in RL, but this will be difficult. | ||
