| Worrying times for all concerned. I think it just brings light to the unsustainability of some organisations in SL - especially under certain management... | ||

General Investment Discussion » metaverseinvestmentfund (MIF) Re: metaverseinvestmentfund (MIF) |

| Yeah - this guy seems to have a good reputation... BUT... I can't see where this money could be coming from... he claims arbitrage is the source of the profits. Personally I can't see how that could be the case considering SL is one single world everything should have uniform market value - shouldn't it? Maybe he has noticed errors in one of the currency exchange sites or is rotating them from $L to $US to something else and then back to $L - no idea! What I personally find suspicious is the 1/3 of profits that seem not to go to the managment or the shareholders - where does that go! I assume its paying for the 25% reduction through ADR - but that doesn't add up either... As far as the user is concerned, there is no proof that it isn't just a giant pyramid scheme (although I doubt it is). Not enough information for me. I suppose if you have blind faith 2% return a month isn't bad though :) |

SL Capital Exchange Archive » SecondPay... SecondPay... |
|
| I was at the SLIB meeting this afternoon. They are launching a new payment system called SecondPay that sounds very similar to SLwallet (or what you'd expect SLwallet to be if it actually existed :) ). Irrespective of whether you view SLIB as worthy competition - it is not good news for SL Wallet 'investors'. That is my view anyway :) |

General Investment Discussion » Unscrupulous Limit Sell Orders Re: Unscrupulous Limit Sell Orders |
|
| Personally I cannot see how this would be any more unfair on unsuspecting newbies than the market order option itself... you nearly always lose money buying at market anyway... Considering the value of nearly all SL shares drop after IPO and from then onwards stunts like these are really the only way to make money on the exchanges as far as I can see. |

SL Reports Public Forum » Webstats Update Re: Webstats Update |
|
| What is up with the site? A ridiculous amount of posts per day and then no news at all for a week. The reason I'm asking is than some of the times I visit your site I've been redirected to some website which sells music/pharmacuticals and which seriously lags-up my PC. I was wondering if you've been having problems.... ? | ||

General Investment Discussion » LOGINS & PASSWORDS NOT WORKING Re: LOGINS & PASSWORDS NOT WORKING |
|
| As was mentioned above - try clearing the cache and cookies from your web browser as these may have become somehow corrupted. Try a different web browser - Firefox or Google Chrome. If this doesn't work - try logging in from a different PC - preferably one at a friends house or workplace (one with a different internet connection). These steps should help diagnose where the problem lies. | ||

General Investment Discussion » LOGINS & PASSWORDS NOT WORKING Re: LOGINS & PASSWORDS NOT WORKING |
|
| If it continues to be a problem for you you could try downloading a firefox plugin called livehttpheaders. It will allow you to see where and when the server instructs your PC to store cookies and other relevant information and whether they are being sent and recieved properly. You should be able to compare the login of your account to that of a different account to see where it is going wrong. It wont solve your problem but it may help with a diagnosis! | ||

| "I don't think Int understands the word "liquidity" if he says he has $8,000 USD in cash but can't pay his bills because of currency limits." LOL - I think he meant L$ balance liquidity (for ATM withdrawls). |
