Re: So --- many gnawling questions remain
This might be a stupid question because I'm no trader either but: Why do we have to sell at 1.03? If I could get my money back dollar for dollar I'd be happy. Why can we not sell at 1.00?

Thanks,

Spyder

Re: So --- many gnawling questions remain
One more (possibly stupid) question. According to what many are saying, if we ALL (and I mean ALL) set our SLW shares to sell at 1.03, wouldn't Arb be forced to buy them back at that cost? And wouldn't we ALL be able to get our FULL refund?

If this is true, then why the $%#* are we ALL not doing this? It seems that we need a united front...

Thanks,

Re: So --- many gnawling questions remain
Okay, what should we do then?

Should we:

1.Play the trader game and buy more SLW stock low and try to sell higher?

2. Just sell our shares for lower and take the hit?

3. Wait it out?

4. Do something entirely different (any suggestions)?

Because I see my portfolio value has gone down. So that must mean that the SLW stock value is falling...It looks like a no-win situation to me.

Re: So --- many gnawling questions remain
I think that we can create a "fair trading environment" by making people (like Arb, and maybe even LL) accountable for their actions. Unfortunately, the only organization that can make people accountable is the government (as in US). But see, bringing the govt in would probably bring in a bunch of other problems for SL in general...

Re: No April buy back?? Are we going to get one in May?
Ivan Halfpint-"Yup down under 50c now - just about the right time to buy back for 50% profit............."

You know Ivan, I almost considered doing that. But I think that it would be idiotic to put any more money into this worthless company. Like they always say "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Who's to say that we'll ever make a profit (or at least come out even) gambling the stock market with this crap? I've lost enough money!

The only thing that I'm investing in from now on is my OWN business that I've already started. Because these crooks stole my shoes and are tryin to sell em back to me double-price! (Don't you appreciate my Old-School sayings? lol)

"Opps I dont think I made my point well - I meant the 50% profit is going to Arb cause now he can buy back at under 50c a share. I dont blame you Spyder - I wouldnt put any money in this either after what happened with JTF. I do own a share however so I can atend the Shareholder meeting :D"

My fault Ivan, I misunderstood.

So what's gonna happen at this Shareholder meeting?

Is it worth going to?

Crap! I lost money in Ginko too! Should I ever trust a financial institution in SL again?

Re: No April buy back?? Are we going to get one in May?
I have to agree Manuela.

It's bad enough that we don't have access to money that is rightfully ours. But not knowing anything about what's being done to remedy the situation is even worse. Ya, we get little bits of info, but they're few and far between.

My faith in any SL financial institution is about gone as well. We're not just being negative, we're not just whining, we're not just being paranoid. This is the truth of the situation: it sucks lol.

I know that we can't totally blame Arb. LL is where this problem originated. But I can see why more and more people are losing faith in Arb as this situation drags on.

They told me to put my lindens in a bank account. That they would be safer than in the top corner of my screen lol. They said it's a great way to earn interest on your lindens! They were wrong. I would give up all the interest the lindens earned, I don't care, I just want what's rightfully mine.

I don't know if there's a light at the end of this tunnel...

"Another guy panicking, isn't really a new thing in the forums of slcapex.com!
Ginko was linked to people that stole money in SL (e.g. Casino Owners) who made a profit out of the people addicted to gambling and nearly everyone involved and even not involved knew that!
I suggest to stop spreading weird rumors or any other bullshit as this is !!!NO HELP!!! for anyone in here. We need facts, not some guys who just need to compensate something.

Regards,
Angi"

Panic? No Angi my friend, it's called reality. There's a difference between saying that the sky is falling and complaining after a piece of sky just hit you in the head!

The reality is that there will be no reall buybacks in the next few months. Ginko was supposed to be a safe place to put our lindens regardless of the surrounding rumors...And so was Arb's financial institution.

Neither turned out to be what they were supposed to be.

There are no rumors, there is only the fact that we're not getting what's owed us anytime soon. Reality.

I'm not a greedy person, f*ck i only put down a poor 15k, and at that time JT gave a 0,001 % interest (or something like that) whoohoo, some big greedy reason there to put it into JT. Place ur money there and i could quit my dayjob just by living on the interest.
I never asked for some stock things, i don't know sh*t of it, and i dont wanna know either. i just want the 15k back that i had put in a bank so it would be safe, go figure !
All i have left now is a mearly? 4k. Maybe next time u start insulting people, it's wise to think first ?"

Hot damn!

I couldn't of said it better myself! lol
