| I do believe avix needs to take a firsthand role in the growth of the exchange, this cannot fall simply on the C.E.O's and companies themselves. That said, there are things that investors could do themselves to aid in bringing in new money, and as alot of you know, ive been a strong supporter of the "avix needs advertising" train of thought. Word of mouth, fliptitles, wearing an avix tshirt to a party, these are all simple things we can do to generate intrest in the exchanges. :) One suggestion i have and i think we should move on, is a campout :) especially with casino's dying now, the popular places traffic numbers will drop, getting on the list will become easier. Avix could host a campout! up the sims avatar limit to 100, and lets get all the investors, ceo's, board members, anyone who is associated with avix to come camp out for a night. pick a day and from 11:59pm to the next day at 11:59pm, we have a mass party. It wouldnt be hard to setup some sponsors for prizes and whatnot (ill commit my who cares stores to donate prize bags of clothing), and get a live stream and a couple of DJ's going on. I can see this really becoming a hit :) we have a strong community, we all like to party, and im pretty sure we can get a group of us to commit to leting our computer stay on 24 hours with our av's partying in the exchange. and the added traffic levels for the next day (possibly a popular places spot) would help alot towards getting new blood to the exchange. It would be alot of fun to! Advertise it on the sl events list, the various sl fourms. see if we can get news media to say something about it (i believe theres a great news co. listed here at avix could help) loads of word of mouth the week leading up to it.... C.E.O's and board members can use the party to get to know other companies better, build stronger ties with shareholders, and do the meet and greet thing with new potential clientelle! whadda you all think? its low cost, wouldnt take much to do, would be hella fun, is fairly easy to put together, and could give avix a nice boost :) Dimitri |

| ok then, i think ill start planing something. we could aim to do the campout on like the second of next month (the thursday), starting at 11:59pm slt on the 1st and ending at 11:59pm slt on the second. ... giving us top traffic for the following friday :) so as not to spam up this thread, im going to make our own in the general section :) Ill need help in the fourm of PEOPLE of course. and for companies to SPONSOR the campout with prizes / linden to give away. Ill also need some DJ's for TUNES!!! and help from people connected with sl media / advertising venues / fourms, etc to aid in advertising. and the biggest thing ill need, co-operation with the avix administration so as to have access to the media stream / someone able to plug it in. having the sims avatar limit upped to 100. and build power to put out freebie boxes / money orb. and the ability to list event classifieds for that parcel. | i think its to be transparent. in real life rule 144 says that all ceo's board members and 10%+ shareholders need to disclose their moves to the public (im not 100% on this but think thats it) | ||

| bumpy bumpy i highly doubt we will ever hear of a winner. but it would be nice if avix admited it was all f*cked up and they dont have a clue who won... or if they do, its been a month now, maybee they should let us know |
