Currency Exchange

The currency exchange allows you to buy and sell (L$) Linden Dollars using USD, as well as other currencies that Paypal converts. You can also deposit USD into your CapEx account via Obopay, Paypall, Bank Wire, Certified Checks, Personal Checks, or Money Order and transfer USD from your CapEx account to your Paypal or Obopay account.

Paypal payments must be received from Verified and Confirmed Accounts. Personal checks must clear before funds are credited.

Buying L$ (Linden Dollars)

1. 1. Deposit USD into your account and get 5% deposit bonus (Max $10 USD). For detailed instructions, see Depositing Funds.


2. 2. Buy L$ by clicking Buy L$.

Selling L$ (Linden Dollars)

1. 1. Sell some L$ by clicking Sell L$.


2. 2. Withdraw your USD to Paypal or Obopay by clicking Withdraw USD.

Currency Exchange Fees

• Trades. We charge a 1% fee to the party selling L$.
  So if you sell $4 USD worth of Lindens, we take $0.04 USD and put $3.96 USD
  in your account.


• Withdrawal. There is a flat fee of $1 USD on withdrawals.
  So if you make a withdrawal $200 USD,
  we will credit your account for $199.
  ***Please note: Accounts failing the Risk API will have their USD withdrawal requests declined
